Yes it is but I hope we see more of the 2nd half against Villa type performance or perhaps something new. If he has any ambitions of getting the job I would expect some changes to that lineup, he spoke of the fact he may have to upset a few (thinking Doc after Leeds) he also made a point that everyone has to work hard, is that a passive stab at those he sees as slacking??

Yes it is a jump but I want a nice Saturday night that follows a decent performance and hopefully 3 points in the bag.
A jump Greg Rutherford would be proud of, but having seen the transformation in the cricket, sport never ceases to surprise you.

Not sure anyone that has called the ostrich thing banter could have actually seen/heard it. It was out and out nasty verbal belitting and bullying done with a certain amount of aggression.

I think that's the first time I've seen this. I won't be THAT critical of this because for all I know he may be the sort of annoying journalist who constantly gets under the skin of the coach to try and get a reaction and it was finally too much.

It's still not very nice and I'm still hoping he doesn't get the job (don't think he will anyway) but I was expecting that to be much worse.

please not Pearson , he is entering the cantankerous part of his life (I've been there for the last ten years!) gets angry very quickly, and argues with anybody
including the clubs owners, he's a tough guy, but am i right ,has he had issues with his last two club owners ?
didn't do to well at Derby, so why would that change with us? plus point , he knows the championship .

Roy Keane
Billy Davies
Tony Mowbray
Alex McLeish
Ian Holloway
Paul Lambert
Brian McDermott
Sam Allardyce
Nigel Pearson

Or we'll be aiming to 'poach' one of these...
Alex Neil
Sean Dyche
Brendan Rodgers
Chris Hughton
Neil Warnock
Aidy Boothroyd

So word is they've spoken to Pearson and Allardyce so far. Hate to say it but they are the 2 best names on the list of available managers above. Rest are has beens or never weres. I'm sure they would have gone for Bruce had he still been available. You could argue Keane might be worth a punt but it would be a risk and I'm not sure he has the humility to have learned from his mistakes.

Presumably if they're not happy with Sam or Nige they'll go down the poaching route. I think Alex Neil is the only one we'd want and be able to get.

We've not spoken to Allardyce have we?

The reports were that he was invited for an interview, but whether that's either true, or happened yet, is unknown.

Pearson and Allardyce are the only two British managers out of work who I would think capable of getting us promoted, just such a shame they're such unpleasant people.

What has tim informed people as I receive blocking order and no longer view his tweets

You can't accuse fosun of inactivity if all this is true! The positive from all this is that we have very very focussed and driven owners who will make big calls and will fund decisions. Refreshing for us

looked at your post ,can't see anything.

Everyone gets that when they read Quirk's posts....

I think he is saying Pearson is fine and he shouldn't have taken the Derby job. With his previous job being one of their rivals he was on to a loser from the off, so ignore the Derby job and his nutjob ways and just look at what he did with Leicester.

ok fair enough, did a good job at Leicester to get them to the premier and just about keep them there, don't think you can ignore his time at Derby and put it down to them being rivals to leicester or the fact that he's a nutcase , he's already fallen out with 2 sets of owners why not a third ?

After the sacking of Walter, Fosun said they wouldn't be making anymore statements, so where is the story about Pearson coming from

Nigel Pearson, Sam Allardyce and Paul Lambert are among the candidates being considered by Wolves for the manager's job, as they look to an experienced British replacement for Walter Zenga, who only lasted 87 days in the job.

I understand Pearson has already been interviewed. He is available after leaving Derby three weeks ago after falling out with the owner Mel Morris.

Lambert and Allardyce are also out of work and therefore attractive to Wolves in terms of a lack of compensation - but it's a moot point whether Allardyce would go from the England job to a club near the bottom of the Championship table in the space of a month, when other Premier League options may soon be attracting him.

Guesswork IMO. We're in a position where compensation is an irrelevancy if we wanted a manager currently employed.

I don't think Pearson is a 'nutcase' etc etc, however I do think he is an out and out cunt

His press conferences are painful to watch, he's an embarrassment to whatever club he represents. Have a look at the conference where he calls the interviewer a prick. He shows complete contempt for fair questions. I don't want him anywhere near the club, he's a difficult person and I would imagine he is a nightmare in the changing room.
