Giggs is a massive no. His 'analysis' on the friday night football at the start of the season was enough to put me off.

I've heard his punditry numerous times but couldn't remember any of the content of anything he's said. He's an instant cure for insomnia. I can't see how he could possibly motivate anyone to do anything except catch up on their sleep.

Deutch - what about AVB ?

Depends whether he's learned from his mistakes in English football, if he tried playing an ultra high line with the likes of Batth and Doherty then we'd certainly be seeing more goals at Molineux. I like the guy a lot (I think he was given a hospital pass at Chelsea to a degree, Spurs was more of his own making), but if I could only pick one candidate that shouldn't really be within the sphere of reality under the normal run of things, I'd rather have Hecking.

Giggs apparently came across pretty badly when he was interviewed for Swansea

This is a picture from the interview

Did you ever see the documentary on ITV about his caretaker spell in charge of United? When he was picking the team (and bear in mind he'd have been told to jazz it up a bit for the cameras) he genuinely came across like a Sunday League manager in his thought processes.

I did and I agree. The 'brainstorming' session with Scholesz and his brother was excruciating.

Massive no from me, sick of his sense of entitlement to get top jobs despite being 42 and having done nothing

Big Fat Sam?

Yep.

Cheap easy odds innit. Dudley boy. Fucking stupid if we go there.

I'm off to check about this Hecking geezer, but I think Marco Silva is the plan. Inter start getting nervy about De Boer, Silva appears from left field in the Italian media as a possible and then we suddenly pull the plug that could have been pulled on Saturday night. I reckon we have made a move there.

Hoddle anyone?

Fuck off and die*

*I got banned for saying that to someone previously, so please note it is in jest towards your good self. Not to the idea of that fucking nouveau-religious fucking head-bump-feeling utter cockpocket ever being allowed near our hallowed turf again though. I would rather we appointed Tommy Docherty with Dean Saunders as assistant.

Said this in July, saying it again now: Bielsa would be my dream choice, even if it would undoubtedly be a disaster.

I've always had the sense that Roy Keane has unfinished business with management. Really don't think this is the right set of circumstances though.

How the actual fuck is Steve Cotteril 7-1 for the job!

AVB down to 12-1 now

Curbs is 33-1

Does he have a contract that means for all jobs he has to be in the running when the odds come out?

First things first, we have to get out of the Championship. Someone who can get to grips with a rainy night at Burton Albion. I'm not sure I'd wish that on AVB or Silva.
Painful though it is to say, Allardyce would be the best bet.
