Next Manager chat.

Yeah giggs is probably a bad idea, loved him as a player though, smart, quick, good touch and scorer... That doesn't mean he will be a great manager of course

Wolves need a manager now that is proven in the Championship. These foreign experiments never work like Solbakken #wwfc

I find this sort of thinking bizarre - there's absolutely no reason why the next manager can't be a 'foreign experiment' but still a success. It's down to the individual and the attributes they can bring to the table - not what's written on his passport.

Aye

If I was taking a gamble I would go with Ryan Giggs rather than a foreign coach #Wwfc

Sigh.

With the ruthlessness, Allardyce to get us out of the division and then change manager.

It's like "the Championship" isn't actually football but a completely different game that's much much harder. Whenever I've watched it, it seems much like other football but a bit more shit.

Yeah Huddersfield, get the fuck out of the top two. Foreign experiments don't work.

Rowett, Silva, Ayestaran, Neville, AvB. Weirdly, in order of likelihood and reverse order of preference. Would be very happy with any though tbf.

Agree completely with the first and last 2, I know very little about ayesteran. I'd be thrilled with one of the other four though.

Yeah we just need a good shot stopper and a midfield general to go with that Championship Experience and we'll be flying. #clicheriddenFC

We just need to win much more than lose.. Thats all :)

If I was going with that it would be a Giggs Neville duo rather than one or other. Whoever needs the window in January to strengthen and ship a few out.

Didn't realise Hecking has just been sacked by Wolfsburg. I'd be all over that, yes please.

Has Rob Edwards been officially named interim HC or is that just a rumor?

No experience in England an issue ?

How did Wolfsburg play ?

The lack of experience in this country doesn't worry me, Zenga didn't fail because he didn't understand English football, he failed because he's not a very good manager. His nominal tactics were fairly standard, nothing out of the ordinary. So long as you can avoid someone like Solbakken who wants to implement ideals that are fundamentally unsuitable for the division and squad (which isn't difficult) then it's a bit of a red herring IMO.

Wolfsburg played quick, attacking football under him, he won German manager of the year in 2015, they never really recovered from De Bruyne leaving.
