Would expect Lambert to be Wolves' man but will reiterate that no decision has been made yet. Candidates still being spoken to today. #wwfc

All angles covered in 1 Tweet, Tim I taught you well Tim II

I'd expect it to be true. Tim 1 will be getting his arse kicked as we speak as you can imagine that they were all party to the news at the same time.

Tim I doesn't work for the E&S or the Shropshire Star any more.

He hasnt a fucking clue and isnt told anything by the club*
I do feel sorry for him though because he has a thankless job to do.

*fakt from someone who knows.

The names being touted are so utterly depressing, like picking the lesser of many uninspiring evils, or US presidential candidates. I mean any bunch where Lumprot is the pick, must be the most unappetizing, worm-ridden bunch ever assembled.
Its like having the choice between a chest infection, a bladder infection and an ear infection.

If it is Lambert what is his preferred style of football ? Does he like to play it out from back ?

What formation does he play ?

Will he use a formation to suit the players he has or will he only play a certain formation.

I believe he played a midfield diamond at Norwich successfully, we may have the players for that system here, but cannot see Cav, Coasta and Tex fitting into it

Thoughts anyone ?

Like a few other people I'm depressed we haven't had the imagination to look outside the usual suspects. Hopefully the story about Thelwell preferring NP is correct & he resigns in protest

Nothing will change with lambert in my eyes, we'll continue to be mediocre mostly and he'll still pick Edwards and Doherty every week

I'm not mad at the thought of the new manager picking Edwards as long as we fit creative players around him. Lambert let the likes of Hoolahan shine at Norwich when they got promoted so I do have some hope that he wont completely waste Ivan, Joao and Helder.

Lambert made Grant Holt into an England international, sort of. Who knows what he could do with Dangerous Dave.

He made Steve Morison and Simeon Jackson look decent too.

I'd be content with him.

I imagine he'll be a fan of Big Jon, just look at the strikers he's favoured/signed so far as a manager (Benteke, Holt, Kozak, etc) and those he played with (Hartson, Sutton, Riedle).

Norwich fans are gutted that they may miss out on Lambert if he comes here and they sack Neil, they don't like their board (Moxey, that's you!) and think we are a bigger and more attractive proposition than they are:

Yeah... The Pinkun is like MolMix on steroids. I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to post on there unless you can prove you've got webbed feet.

If it is to be Lambert, he'll get my full support, best of the names to come up recently and he has had success, hard to be too harsh on him with Villa, that was a real shit job. Don't care what formation/personell he plays as long as it works, don't even care about his lack of charisma in front of the camera.....in fact thats a plus point imo.
A lot of folks complaining about the lack of excitement in the prospective candidates (me included) but maybe we did approach some foreign coaches and got knocked back and he's the best available that wants the job?

Why would they sack Neil? Thought he had them playing some good stuff.

Lambert is an intelligent choice. Looking forward to him doing a Norwich with us.

Im on the fence regarding any of the managers on the list..
