I thought he was responsible for boring stuff like booking hotels and passing substitution choices to the fourth official and the like, from every description I've read of his responsibilities. I never really got the vibe he had some secret uber-authority over people like Thelwell like I've seen alleged elsewhere.

I think after Wigan the board were starting to get uneasy about Zenga and had Butti reporting back. As he has no coaching credentials that I know of and wasn't on our coaching staff he had no place being there.

I'm not sure about that, i think Zenga wanted him there and it seems with him gone as well as Zenga he was only here for Walter. Obviously you could be right but i'm not sure anyone knows other than those at the top.

Pretty much my thoughts too. He'd do a good job even thought I don't really want him. He'd get my full support though.

The day that twat darkens Molineux's door is the day I stop going.

It is only going to get worse again from here though, he's peaked i think and Langers can redeem himself after encouraging him.

Frank take a bow :icon_lol:

Internet breaks!!!!

People will talk about this moment in years to come.
Hey - remember when Zenga's successor was announced?

Nope, but I remember Frank telling a funny joke. #milestone

Issues behind the scenes according to this

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/wolves-parted-company-walter-zenga-9129424

Sources have told Mirror Sport that there was conflict between them and members of the old guard from the Kenny Jackett regime.

There were arguments in front of squad members as tempers flared, with the powers of respected members of staff lessened or simply made irrelevant as the threesome sought to impose their will.

It has also been suggested that Butti - who formerly worked at Monaco and Inter Milan - attempted to work around, rather than with senior figures at the club, as the mood soured during the recent poor run.

Following the Leeds defeat Zenga went round the changing room shaking players hands and saying well done. When he got to Batth, Danny refused to shake his hand and said "Why are you congratulating people, we have a bunch of foreigners that have no heart, who's heads drop as soon as we go 1 down." Apparently, they carried on their conversation in private.

Interesting - what's his excuse for the same mentality being at the club last season then?!

Imo it's the players at the back whose heads drop when we concede and that hinders our play throughout the pitch.

Does Irish count as foreign? Because that was our biggest problem on Saturday.
