Loan Watch 2024/2025

I'm glad he's doing well as it increases his value, but there's not the tiniest element of me that wants to see him back.
If he improves us I'd want him back, if not then the most we can get for him would be optimal.

I'm don't watch enough football to know which category he falls into.

I never ever want to see Fabio in a Wolves shirt ever again.

Sorry everyone - have fallen behind over the last few weeks. Here's a recap!

Fabio Silva - Las Palmas, La Liga
Played full games in a 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo then a 3-1 home defeat vs Sociedad. Had two lively games: Vs Vigo: had a goal disallowed for offside, and helped set up the equaliser with a smart dummy. Also had a shot from distance tipped around the post. Vs Sociedad he hit the bar, fired another effort just over, and set up their goal with a fine ball across the face of goal.

Scored a brace on Sunday in a 3-1 win ar Getafe, in which he played the full game. Both decent finishes tbf. Goals on 1.50 and 2.50:

Joe Hodge, Tawanda Chirewa - Huddersfield, League One
Hodge played the first half of a 4-0 defeat at Charlton, then the last 10 minutes of a defeat at Lincoln, then 75 minutes in a 2-1 at home to Mansfield. Was an unused sub for the last mid-week game.

Chirewa has been coming on as a late sub, apart from when he played an hour in the Mansfield win. Left out of this weekend's squad.

Lonwijk has been injured for the last few weeks.

Chem Campbell - Reading, League One
Has started the last 5 games and and has been taken off as a late sub in each. Scored in last week's game, a 3-1 win at Shrewsbury. Reading in 6th, looking good for the play-offs.

Goal on 2 minutes:

Ki-Jana Hoever - Auxerre, Ligue 1
Started the last three games - two wins and a defeat- and got the assist in the first one, a first-time cross from the right.

Fletcher Holman - Solihull, National League.
Has been in and out the team and has played around 90 minutes over the last 4 games, no goals. Solihull have won just 2 of the 16 games since he's been there.

Jimmy Storer - Chester City, National League North
Still first choice but after a run of 11 clean sheets in 16 games has failed to keep one in his last 5. Chester now 4th after leading the league for a while, play-offs their most likely outcome.

Lewys Benjamin - Stourbridge FC, Southern Premier League Central
Has been between the sticks for a decent run of form, 1 loss in 5 games. Also played for Wales U19s recently with Ryan Giggs's son.

Josh Esen - Redditch United, Southern Premier League Central
Has been coming off the bench in the last few games as Redditch fight for survival. Whipped in a great assist though recently to help his side get a vital point.

Stan Amos and Hayden Carson - Darlaston Town
Both been ever-presents in the last few games, which has unfortunately included their current 3-game losing streak as Darlaston struggle to nail down a play-off place.

Unused subs: Chiquinho, Lembikisa (has played a few minutes at the end of the last 2 games)
Not in squad: Bueno, Sutherland (apart from this weekend when he was an unused sub), Lonwijk, Kaleta, Ashworth

Round-up from the Bank Holiday weekend.
Fabio Silva - Las Palmas, La Liga

Earned his best young player award by *checks notes* registering 0 shots on goal and getting subbed before his team scotred the only goal of the game. It was against one of the best defences in the league to be fair to him, as LP beat Atletico 1-0 in a crucial win for them.

Chem Campbell - Reading, League One
Played 88 minutes of a 5-1 win at Mansfield but didn't play a part in any of the goals. The result puts them outside the play-off places on GD.

Goal on 2 minutes:

Ki-Jana Hoever - Auxerre, Ligue 1
Played the full game in a 3-1 defeat at Lyon.

Jimmy Storer - Chester City, National League North
Recorded back-to-back wins including a clean sheet at Southport. Chester confirmed for the play-offs

Lewys Benjamin - Stourbridge FC, Southern Premier League Central
Also in the team for two Bank Holiday wins, including a "well-earned" clean sheet.

Josh Esen - Redditch United, Southern Premier League Central
Two defeats for Redditch. Esen came on as a first-half sub in the first game, then played the full game in a 4-0 defeat.

Stan Amos and Hayden Carson - Darlaston Town
Amos played both games, a win and a draw. Carson played the full 90 for the first, then was subbed late in the second,

On as sub: Hodge came on for the last few minutes of Huddersfield's 2-1 defeat at Stockport that confirms them in League One for another season. Holman played the last 25 minutes of Solihull's win at home to Boston and helped them come from 2-1 down to win 3-2 by winning a penalty with some good play down the right.

Unused subs: Chiquinho, Sutherland, Lembikisa
Not in squad: Lonwijk, Chirewa, Ashworth
No game: Bueno, Kaleta

Chiquinho : Unused sub..........Sedgely must have typed that several times this season . It has been a very poor move for him and you'd wonder what his future is at this point . Maybe he just needs a bit of VP love !
