Are we comparing MGW with David Silva?
I think we might have the wrong Silva……

When you say more than one manager you mean Nuno and Bruno, in fact Bruno wanted him to stay and fight for a place but the player wanted regular first team football and I don't blame him...let's face it most fans were saying that's exactly what he should do.But doesn't that tell you something that more than one manager has deemed him unsuitable for a regular starting place ? Don't get me wrong I would love him to come back and be the missing piece of the jigsaw (Jens Dowe ) must there must be a reason that managers have not trusted him? (apart from the phenomena that absent players attain mythical legendry status in fans eyes)

I've just not seen enough of him to say he will or won't make it
Didn't he play as a wide forward for Swansea? We haven't played a formation which would ideally suit him since around this time 2 years ago at which point he probably wasn't strong enough to play there week in week out and if rumours are true probably didn't have the application either. Like most on here I've seen a lot of Championship football, you don't do what he is at that level without having the ability to do it in the PL.
Go 3421/3412 with him from January and we'd be a better side than we are now even without any new signings.

Not really no. They are playing 2 in behind the forward of which he's one rather than 2 wider forwards cutting in like us. He's playing much more centrally than we do ordinarily. He’s playing as an inside forward at Sheff Utd no? And the same at Swansea? Which is what we’ve tried to play for the last 4.5 years bar the 9 months of 352.
Obviously under Nuno in the PL for some bizarre reason the forwards were parked out on the wing (an element due Traores strengths/preferences).
But I agree he could come in and play the role Hwang and Trincao are supposed to be playing at the minute and play as an #8 in a 352 or 433. But I don’t think Wolves can play a 3412 unless we’re 1) dominating the game or 2) he’s playing as a false 9 (we’ve done it before) because otherwise out of possesion we’re a bit short or asking Raul to track the FB.

3412 or 3421 with MGW and Podence (hopefully at some point Neto) in behind Raul or Hwang alongside him and MGW in behind, firstly gets players closer to Raul, secondly gives us the option to drop MGW deeper and make it a midfield 3 when we are getting overrun and thirdly means at least 2 of Adama, Trincao and Hwang are off the pitch all of whom whilst all having invididually decent games have had a lot more poor ones this season
Do you think he has a future here, in years to come?By all accounts Sheffield Wednesday fans absolutely love Corbeanu

Hard to tell! One thing doing it in league 1, another making an impact in the premier leagueDo you think he has a future here, in years to come?
