EEL was fine in League 1. The odd decent appearance in the Championship....bomb scare the rest of the time. He will do ok as long as the manager ignores what MK Dons did with him. Tip, don't play him as a DM
Villa fans seem to have written Hause off after playing 25 mins in a game they were already losing. Such an entitled bunch, may they stay in the Championship for ever more.
Came on as a sub just after the hour mark with his side 1-0 down and had a bit of a disaster; just ask any Villa fan. Gave away a clumsy free-kick right away which led to a period of pressure, culminating in the second goal. Also put Whelan under pressure with a sketchy pass who gave away the penalty for the third. Not great.
Danny Batth - Middlesborough, The Championship.
A steady 90 minutes back in the team at Blues in a 2-1 win. Always nice to see one of our lot get one over Small Heath.
Bright Enobakhare - Coventry City, League One.
Thrown into the starting line at home to Wimbledon and showed some nifty footwork to set up a chance from which his team mate really should have scored. Subbed after an hour (probably rusty) and the game finished 1-1.
Jordan Graham - Oxford United, League One.
Kept his place in the side for the a trip to Fleetwood and saw his side slip to a 2 goal deficit at the break. Stayed on for the full game though and helped them come back to earn the draw - no assists or goals to speak of just yet though.
Ethan Ebanks-Landell - Rochdale, League One.
A glorious return to the third tier for EEL at London Road, coming on at half time with the Dale a goal down. Had a quiet 45 minutes though and his team lost 2-1.
Connor Johnson - Walsall, League One.
A somewhat surprise inclusion in the starting XI at home to Scunthorpe. Played the full game in a 2-1 defeat.
Ben Goodliffe - Dagenham and Redbridge, National League
90 minutes in a 2-0 FA Trophy loss at Salford. Booked for a dangerous challenge.
Rafa Mir- Las Palmas, Spanish Segunda División
Started at home to Osasuna and contributed a goal in a 4-1 win, a lovely chipped finish across the keeper after being played through to make it 3-0. Subbed with 15 minutes to go.
Goal on 35 seconds:
FC Jumilla - Only Yang appeared in the starting line-up at CF Talavera, but he was replaced by Hanne after 10 minutes due to an injury he picked up in the warm-up. Wilson and Stevenson seem to have disappeared as there's no mention of an injury to either of them anywhere. 2-0 defeat.
You would hope that Wilson could get a league 1 loan. I know he didn’t do great at Port VAle last season but he’s a good goal scorer and could do very well for someone out there
Cov boss Mark Robins on Bright, who played in the hole: "The quality he has in his feet is unbelievable. He’s a Premier League quality player but he has just got to learn to work hard and have that L1/L2 work ethic because he’s that type of player who is easy on the eye."
Kept his place in the team and played the full game for the visit of Millwall. Could have done better in blocking the run of the Millwall player who set up the opening goal, Boro levelled with a penalty late on however.
Bright Enobakhare - Coventry City, League One.
Kept his place in the team and produced an excellent 90 minute display playing just behind the main striker despite his team losing 2-1. Mark Robins thinks he'll be a hit in League One if he pulls his socks up.
Jordan Graham - Oxford United, League One.
Started against Kenny Jackett's Pompey and looked threatening on the left wing. Some good work down the flank and a dangerous cross in led to his team's second, scored by James Henry. Was subbed with 15 minutes to go after Pompey pulled one back and started to press for an equaliser.
Ethan Ebanks-Landell - Rochdale, League One.
Handed a starting place at centre-half at home to Fleetwood and put in an industrious 90 minutes. Game finished 1-1.
Connor Johnson - Walsall, League One.
Kept his place in the side and helped his team keep a clean sheet in a 3-0 win at Gillingham. Sounds like Matty Jarvis is doing the business for the Saddlers.
FC Jumilla - Leak and Yang both got a full game in a 2-1 win. Hanne and Deslandes came on in the last 10 minutes.
