Yep. When it’s that cold and dry it’s usually more sticky than slippy if that makes sense. Also I’ve got some hybrid trail shoes which are very grippy.

Got to zero degrees pretty quickly, and with bright sunshine and no wind it actually felt much warmer. After the rain and grey clouds we’ve had for ages it felt amazing being out crisp underfoot with the sun coming through the trees.

Was a wrench getting out but definitely worth it.

Infernal weather here. Got to be at least 150mm of rain on this farmstead in the last few hours. Massive thunder and you can see about 50 metres. Roads are completely underwater. Shame I have to feed the cows in about half an hour
