Good people of Britain...........PANIC

It missed Burton as well. They had it in Leicester as i saw someone put it on Facebook, so it must have been moving South West from there.

Think we only caught the edge of it. Pretty heavy for five minutes or so but nothing that dramatic, we've had a lot worse inside the last year on more than one occasion (I got caught in it once and ended up essentially trapped under a petrol station roof for a while)

Had at least 3 Met Office warnings re thunderstorms today & it got very dark to the north 30 mins ago - nothing happened & now sunny again - can't trust anyone these days!

Rain? What, today? Its scorchio in Brum. Proper hot and sunny.
where abouts in brum are you mate? I'm classed as south bham (I'm 10 mins away from northfield). Mainly cloudy here all day. one light, very brief shower.

Moseley, about 15 mins from Northfield towards town...we had one brief downpour but otherwise positively tropical today!

Its gone biblical now round these parts. Eden is dancing round the garden soaking wet making loud chicken noises. Send help.

Eden is certainly unique.

Just got caught out in the rain AGAIN.

It's starting to build up here as well now, been grumbling with thunder for a while but the lightning's here as well now and the thunder is getting proper loud.
