Roglic had a giro under control before and blew up in a very late stage. It was like watching a re-run.

Delighted for Sam Bennett . Had the Green jersey secure even before the stage into Paris , but to win the stage itself was very sweet . Wearing Green for Ireland too was more than appropriate .

Giro starts at the weekend. Hopefully the late start doesn’t mean issues with too much snow as I have just noticed they have got the Stelvio in the route. One of the best climbs in cycling.
