some people saying one shot is never gonna be enough..so we will seeI think that's the game changer our govt are banking on as it gets as close to 100% by the end of June.
Personally I'd be inclined to believe the scientists than 'some people'some people saying one shot is never gonna be enough..so we will see
It's been rigorously tested and it's 85% effective against "severe" Covid (which is all anyone need care about, realistically). Approved by the FDA, the WHO and the EU Commission in the last month.some people saying one shot is never gonna be enough..so we will see
Russian one is just a ripoff of the AZ vaccine isn't it?we will see if the russian Sputnik will be approves and the chinese one
I dont know to be honestRussian one is just a ripoff of the AZ vaccine isn't it?
yeah I know, but the thing is how long will it last compared to two shots? It's been rigorously tested and it's 85% effective against "severe" Covid (which is all anyone need care about, realistically). Approved by the FDA, the WHO and the EU Commission in the last month.
It's a one shot thing, if that's what's on offer you won't get two.
Sign of a real man, not like some of the posters on here.......you know who you are !So, 24 hours on from my jab... I woke up this morning aching a bit in my joints (back, neck and shoulders) but that's it.
Bah - can’t see a Union Jack. Not looking forward to seeing a picture of Alex the not so later, sleeves rolled, thumbs up, with some sort of union jack on his person as he's receiving the Anglo/Swedish vaccination.
I think it's first thing tomorrow morning you are diagnosed with KennyitisHad my AZ jab a 9.15 this morning, not sure at what point I start being in agony and rolling around crying like a Pablo but I'm sure its in the post...
and later that day confirmed as a Super Hero. Downside though is you get Pablo as your sidekick but you do get to wear a cape, so you know not all badI think it's first thing tomorrow morning you are diagnosed with Kennyitis
well, some says one shot isnt enough, but we will see..it will of course be a yearly thing like with the influencia or what its called in english...and yes i will take whatever vaccine im offered..you cant chooseYou don't get longer immunity with two shot jabs like Pfizer/AZ, as far as we know anyway. It's that the first shot on its own isn't enough so you need two.
This does the same job (broadly speaking) with one shot. It's more efficient, not less.
We don't know as a whole how long immunity lasts (do you need boosters never again, yearly, every three years, every five, what) because we haven't ever experienced those timescales with this illness, it didn't exist 18 months ago. And we don't know what the virus will do yet, if it can't reproduce will it just die off or what.
Anyway no-one gets to choose from a menu of vaccines, you get what you're offered, take it or leave it (you're a plank if you take Option B, not that I expect you would )
