It's been rigorously tested and it's 85% effective against "severe" Covid (which is all anyone need care about, realistically). Approved by the FDA, the WHO and the EU Commission in the last month.

It's a one shot thing, if that's what's on offer you won't get two.

yeah I know, but the thing is how long will it last compared to two shots?

You don't get longer immunity with two shot jabs like Pfizer/AZ, as far as we know anyway. It's that the first shot on its own isn't enough so you need two.

This does the same job (broadly speaking) with one shot. It's more efficient, not less.

We don't know as a whole how long immunity lasts (do you need boosters never again, yearly, every three years, every five, what) because we haven't ever experienced those timescales with this illness, it didn't exist 18 months ago. And we don't know what the virus will do yet, if it can't reproduce will it just die off or what.

Anyway no-one gets to choose from a menu of vaccines, you get what you're offered, take it or leave it (you're a plank if you take Option B, not that I expect you would )

If we actually do have supply issues then the fat bastard should get down the queue, being as he's been bragging for ages about being "bursting with antibodies".

Although I suspect that a) he was nowhere near as ill as the party machine/he claimed (he's since said "I never thought it would see me off", how the fuck would you know if you were genuinely touch and go, as was said at the time) and b) the only thing bursting is his massive gut over his belt.

well, some says one shot isnt enough, but we will see..it will of course be a yearly thing like with the influencia or what its called in english...and yes i will take whatever vaccine im offered..you cant choose
