Coronavirus

Reminds me a bit of the MMR autism link. Kids that had the jab were later diagnosed as autistic therefore it must have been the jab. Debunked rather quickly as coincidence but even now believed by some
yes, my son has autism and have been given him vaccine before and youre right it was taken back and correctly so..trying some MCT oil on him now, just a teaspoon a day to get him more focused

I’m not going to get in a car again as there is a tiny chance of a fatal accident....nor go for a walk in the countryside because people get killed by animals every year....and I will not have my curry tonight to ensure I avoid food poisoning...

All safe as long as you don't have a vaccine just before doing any of those

And don't get me started on the percentage of people that died who had cleaned their teeth that very morning, coincidence ? I think not !

I do wonder what will happen if the research eventually shows we need to be vaccinated annually? I think the mobilisation this year has been wonderful, but it's not really sustainable in the long run. I presume it'll be the case of vaccinating the over 70's and clinically vulnerable.
Approvals are going through for two tablet forms and one nasal spray form of the vaccine. They've found a way of keeping it ok at room temperature which was the key. It'll be a few months yet I imagine but it's the key to distributing an annual/bi-annual booster without having to deploy an army of NHS staff and volunteers.

Around 700,000 vaccinations done yesterday.

Just in UK? that is good work
Yep. Most we have done in 1 day (over 1.3m done in 48 hours)

Numbers will fall back down soon as we concentrate on the 2nd doses and coping with 5m doses not arriving in time and 1.7m doses having to be tested again. Should have good numbers for another week but then probably be May after that before we hit these numbers again

mrs jelly vaccinated this morning. in boris style, she reported not even feeling the syringe going in.
nurse who gave her the jab (astrazeneca) reported the facebook nonsense isn't putting people off. no-one is declining to have the jab.

Morons will be morons

Chants of "you can stick your vaccination up your arse" too. No "sideways" so Wolves fans not in attendance.

worrying fact is they have like minded individuals (who make up the terribly named covid recovery group) constantly lobbying boris in the same way. worse, they have a direct line to him.

Thankfully though he has given up trying to please them.
It's either he has grown a pair or he intends to quit when this shit is over and leave sorting out the economic mess and fallout of increased taxes etc to someone else so doesn't give a shit if they like him or not anymore.

I think that's exactly what will happen Kenny.

He'll ride the cost trails of having been part of saving the world for the rest of his career.
