They are currently testing the J&J vaccine to see if a booster jab after 3-12 weeks increases its numbers but that's not because the single jab isn't effective on its own as its numbers already demonstrate.

Loads of other testing across the jabs as well. AZ and Sputnik being mixed is under way and also mixing jab 1 and 2 between Pfizer & AZ. Also working on combining Covid with the flu jab.

I have no links its just what leading virus experts here are a bit unsure about(how long the protection will last before a second injection), I dont believe in conspiracy theories, facts and sources all the way

I have no idea what their expertise is in but I would suggest viruses aren’t it if they can’t read published research.

Well that's the same for any vaccination for Covid, 1 or 2 jabs.
It's new so right now real time data is being gathered. I would suggest the experts are getting muddled with, well 2 MUST be better than 1.
From the last round of data released J&J were matching AZ, Pfizer etc in terms of protection. Hence why the US and the EU approved it. I believe the UK are currently now looking at the next step of data before approval. If the rumours are true that we wouldn't get our first doses until June/July then it makes sense for us to get a bit more in.

He did a similar thing the other week with Uni Students - They can come home over Easter but prefer it if they don't.

A year on and still giving shite messaging. Will praise them on everything vaccination related, outside of that we have a Government that has learnt zero from mistakes and added thousands to the number of deaths and will walk away patting each other on the back (and a few mates millions richer)

I do wonder what will happen if the research eventually shows we need to be vaccinated annually? I think the mobilisation this year has been wonderful, but it's not really sustainable in the long run. I presume it'll be the case of vaccinating the over 70's and clinically vulnerable.

Aye, if society is open then you can't go commandeering all kinds of buildings as vaccine centres for a start.

As I say, depends what the virus does when we're all jabbed up. If it actually prevents transmission to an extent (we don't know yet) then it could just die off. Or it could mutate and always be there.

..and getting as many people as possible vaccinated to achieve something like herd immunity, these AZ warnings of blood clots and other things will certainly put some people off, some here in sweden are rejecting the AZ vaccine now..and this morning 2 cases in denmark with blood clots in the brain that they say could relate to the AZ vaccine doesnt help either

Whichever way testing goes (combining with a flu jab the most likely outcome) it will follow the ful jab I reckon. Those vunerable will get it for free and the rest of the nation will be able to pay for it via Pharmacies etc.
The current programme will last into 2022, simply to protect the economy and keep people in work and being active etc

Could is doing a lot of heavy lifting there because it is bollocks. All they can do is say they have had the 2 things - a blood clot and the jab. Nobody can prove a link. People have had the Pfizer jab and had blood clots, people haven't had a jab and had blood clots. People get blood clots
