Bournemouth 1-1 Wolves (Bournemouth win 5-4 on pens) : Verdict Thread

Were 6 points clear so should still have enough about us to stay up. Neither Ipswich or Leicester are good enough IMO.

They’re not but we’ve just made things a lot more even for the next month

Oh deep joy, the non-wolves supporting Incel is back with his emojis.

Well the Wolves media team will be quietly right-clicking all that feel good Cunha promotional material into the recycling bin tonight.

This game could yet prove costly. A foolish young man who we need to continually massage his ego (Trump like) till he fucks off at the end of the season.

I was looking forward to a game that if we lost had zero consequences on the league. How fucking stupid am I the one thing not to do is exactly that. It’s almost like he wants a month off.

From hero to zero eh? Scores one of the goals of the season to get us back in the tie and then a completely unnecessary sending off in the final minute of extra time and a very embarrassing reaction where he is fighting everyone on the way to the tunnel. If he hadn't been sent off he would have taken a penalty meaning fucking Doherty or Traore wouldn't have.

Wolves. Only fucking Wolves.

Johnstone actually made some very good reaction saves second half and extra time to keep us in it and would have been the hero of the day with his penalty save (despite being a statue on the first couple) but when I saw Doherty come forward for the one that would have sent us through (and also meant that one of Cunha's missed games would be a cup one) I knew he was going to fuck it up. If Kepa had saved it I'd have been far less angry than I was when the stupid prick put it wide.

With an extra 30 minutes play, losing Cunha, being knocked out, we have lost in every single way today.

VP will be fuming and who can blame him?

They let Cunha off after Ipswich, but nobody can have any complaints if they drop the hammer on the petulant prick now and make a real example of him.

It's 12 games since his last outburst, he doesn't have his previous disciplinary record and his shitty apology letter will mean fuck all.

I can understand him cutting a frustrated figure as we effectively declared on 75 minutes and stopped competing and he was asked to do a pretty thankless task. I can't accept him completely losing the plot.

He wants to be careful because for all the gifts he has if he shows he can't control his emotions he'll be viewed as a loose cannon and might not get the move he clearly wants.

I’d be throwing the book at him as a club. Worry is though, there’s a big chance that once his ban is up we will still be in the midst of a relegation battle and will desperately need him.

Reading between the lines one would assume the release clause is easily obtaining and was put in place as a ‘stay, keep us up, have a bit more cash then off you go’. Becomes less obtainable if VP reads the riot act, the club give him a huge fine and he thinks fuck you all I’m going on strike though.

He’s got the club right over a barrel.

Bloody good player though.

I'm not one for hyperbole or hate on players usually but right now I hate Cunha more than I've ever hated Doc.
After the Ipswich nonsense he got another chance which everyone deserves, absolute bellend, I'm not buying pashun, it's just petulant and I don't care if Vitor chucks him under a bus.

Whatever he gets he deserves, seems like the captains armband is jinxed.

Feels a bit sliding doors moment today just hope in years gone by we’re looking at today and saying “what if”

Doubt I’ll see it back, but did anyone else notice Andre laughing at Doherty when he walked back after his miss.
I did, but thought it was more in a ‘don’t worry about it’ kinda way.

I didnt want any of the important players playing before the game because we're not very good and thought the chances of us winning or even getting to Wembley were slim and wasn't worth the risk, it couldn't have gone much worse.
