Sasa Kaladjzic - LASK, Austrian Bundesliga
A full game for Sasa and a goal for the third game on the bounce as they draw 1-1 at home to leaders Sturm Graz. Uses his height well to climb over a defender and nod it home. They're now two points off the top.

Goal:

Fer Lopez - Celta Vigo, La Liga
Played the full game in a 3-1 defeat at home to Freiburg as Celta crashed out of the Europa League (6-1 on aggregate)

No game this weekend.

Nigel Lonwijk - Luton Town (League 1)

Played the full game in a 2-1 win at home to Northampton last Wednesday. Booked.

Another full game for him in this weekend's 2-2 draw at Mansfield. Luton sit in 8th, three points off the play-offs.

James Storer - Greenock Morton (Scottish Championship)

Back in the team and got a clean sheet in a goalless draw at home to Queen's Park.

Arthur Nasta - Hornchurch (National League South)

Played in a 3-3 at home to Chelmsford, then a 3-1 win away to Chippenham in which he helped to preserve their two-goal cushion with a great save tipped onto the post. Hornchurch now just a point off leaders Worthing.

Josh Gracey - AFC Telford (National League North)

Played in a 1-1 at home to Darlington.

On as sub: Hoever came on after an hour to help Sheff Utd come back from 1 down to win 2-1 at home to Hull. He was then an unused sub for their next game this weekend. Alfie Pond came on for the second half of Crewe's 3-1 loss at home to McDons.

Of the loanees are any of them ones people would consider having the ability, or developing enough to be of any sort of use next season? I get the keepers probably way off given their current leagues, but any of the others?

Despite having the heart of a pea, and the physical presence of Silas, Fer Lopez would be one of the more talented players in the Championship.

Whether he wants to play in it, is a different story.

Sasa seems to be hitting some form and fitness at last, but there would always be a question mark against him lasting in a gruelling Championship season. I reckon we’ll take whatever’s on offer for him this summer, unfortunately.

You mention the keepers but I really liked the look of Nasta when he I saw him in the under 21’s (? - could have been under 18’s) here before he went on loan. Sounds like he’s had a good season. Tough because I’d prefer we gave someone like him the experience of being in a squad here, perhaps as a number 2 or 3, but then equally you want him playing regularly too. Maybe we’ll loan him out again but higher up the football spectrum.

I don’t see anyone else on loan coming back and making a huge impact but I’d be very surprised if Tommy Doyle isn’t part of our squad next season.

I think Djiga will be back.

On paper you look at his experience he's had for his age at some huge clubs in big competitions combined with his athleticism and he should be able to dominate at that level.

I think at least one of Toti/Mosquera will go, Krejci will definitely be off and I have serious doubts about Santi at a lower level in a (hopefully) higher line. We'll see it as a bit of a no brainer. Unfortunately the guy just doesn't have a brain.

Admittedly he's looked a little better playing for a manager who actually has a clue about how to organise a defence but he's genuinely Tchatchoua levels of can't control a football.

I think Doyle will be similar. I think he's rubbish personally but the club will see that he's had 2 years at this level, one where he was a key part of Sheffield United being promoted and think he'll be able to slot straight back in.

Hopefully they've seen enough of Hoever now and will just get rid.

Update from the last week:

Sasa Kaladjzic - LASK, Austrian Bundesliga

A full game for Sasa and a brace and assist in a 5-1 win at Hartberg, making it 5 goals in 5 for him. The first was deflected and the keeper should have done better, the second was a wonder goal, as posted earlier. Nice chipped pass for the 4th as well.

He came off early in the second half for LASK as they drew 1-1 at Sturm Graz last mid-week.

Fer Lopez - Celta Vigo, La Liga

Played 82 minutes of a 1-0 loss at Barcelona last mid-week, then came on for the last 15 minutes of a 2-1 defeat at Villarreal as Celt struggle to finish in the Euro spots.

Nigel Lonwijk - Luton Town (League 1)

Played a full game at RB as Luton won 2-0 at Rotherham last week and kept their hopes of reaching the play-offs alive.

Was then dropped for this weekend's 2-1 win at home to Barnsley, just coming on to help see the game out. Luton a point off 6th with one game left.

Nasser Djiga - Rangers (SPL)

Played the full game ina 3-2 defeat at home to Motherwell as Rangers stutter in the title race.

Ki-Jana Hoever - Sheffield United (The Championship)

Played 67 minutes of T'Blades 3-1 defeat at home to Blackburn, then came on in stoppage time for their 3-2 loss at Preston.

Marshall Munetsi - Paris FC (Ligue 1)

Started the 1-0 defeat at home to Lille but was subbed off at HT after giving away the game's deciding penalty with a clumsy sliding challenge in the area.

Alfie Pond - Crewe (League Two)

Back in the team and played the full game in a 2-0 defeat at Chesterfield.

James Storer - Greenock Morton (Scottish Championship)

Played in a 4-0 defeat at St Mirren, setting up a big relegation clash vs Airdrie this weekend.

Arthur Nasta - Hornchurch (National League South)

Kept a clean sheet in a goalless draw at home to Maidenhead. Hornchurch finish second and will face Weston-Super-Mare in the play-offs.

Finished their season in 11th with a 1-1 draw at home to Darlington.

On as sub: Doyle came on after the last 20 minutes of Blues' 2-1 win at home to Bristol City after being an unused sub the previous game to help Sheff Utd come back from 1 down to win 2-1 at home to Hull. He was then an unused sub for their next game this weekend.
