A few bits from this week so far:

Boubacar Traore - FC Metz (Ligue 1)
Played 84 minutes of a 1-1 draw at Lorient. Carelessly passed the ball to the opposition who went on to get the equaliser from the same move.

Tommy Doyle - Birmingham City (Championship)
Back into the team following his suspension and played the full game in a 3-2 win over leaders Coventry.

James Storer - Greenock Morton (Scottish Championship)
Played in a 3-2 defeat at Partick.

Not in squad: Djiga (AFCON), Benjamin, Carson

Game postponed: Lonwijk, Pond, Nasta

Last weekend and mid-week:

Tommy Doyle - Birmingham City (Championship)
Played the full game in a 3-2 FAC win at Cambridge. Got the assist for the winner by reacting sharply to a loose ball and finding his team mate with a simple pass.

Ki-Jana Hoever - Sheffield United (Championship)
Taken off after 57 minutes with his team 3-1 down at home to League One Mansfield. Second goal went right through him, may have just about nicked his head on the way in.

Nigel Lonwijk - Luton Town (League 1)
Played the full game at RB in a 2-1 win at home to Stevenage. Got booked. The result meant they leapfrogged their opponents into 7th place.

Also played the full game in a 2-1 FL Trophy defeat at home to Swindon, this time in the middle. Was slow to get to the rebound for the winner.

Has also been nominated for the goal of the month award for his screamer the other week.

On as sub: Nasser Djiga made his comeback from AFCON with a few minutes off the bench to help Rangers close a 2-0 win at Aberdeen.

Unused sub: Pond

No game: Traore, Kaladjzic, Storer, Nasta

Weekend update:

Tommy Doyle - Birmingham City (Championship)
Another full game in a 1-1 draw at Swansea.

Nasser Djiga - Rangers (SPL)
Played the full game in a 5-0 cup win at home to Annan Athletic.

Nigel Lonwijk - Luton Town (League 1)
Played the full game back in his normal (!) position of RB in a 2-2 draw at home to Lincoln.

Alfie Pond - Crewe Alexandra (League Two)
Made his debut and played the full game in a 3-1 win at home to Barrow. Not sure if he made contact with the ball before it was bundled home for the first, but might be able to claim the assist.

James Storer - Greenock Morton (Scottish Championship)
Played in a 4-0 cup defeat at Stenhousemuir from the league below.

Arthur Nasta - Hornchurch (National League South)
Played in a 2-0 win at home to Eastbourne to go to second in the table. Nasta made a few excellent saves, including a "stunning point-blank save on eighty-five minutes to extinguish any lingering hopes of an Eastbourne comeback".

On as sub: Munetsi came on for the last few minutes of Paris FC's 2-1 win at Nantes.
Unused sub: Hoever
Not in squad: Traore
No game: Kaladjzic

Blades usual RB is Seriki who has always looked one of their better players to me, so presume Hoever was brought in for cover.
