Wolves / Covid-19

The Times speculating that it could be the whole of 2020/21 behind closed doors.

Eight weeks since the Brighton game tomorrow...

It’s Wolves, so I will still watch but I really didn’t enjoy the Olympiacos game with no crowd. Don’t know how it will be with a whole season like that.

Though saying that I didn’t really enjoy the Brighton game either :)

Leaked audio here saying maybe no fans at games until January next year. I’m starting to really miss going to Wolves already.

May as well just re start at the same time we stopped then! Call it season 2020-2022!

Obviously this won't happen (tv money etc etc) but that'd be my personal preference.

Really missing it too! Sad thing is I realised my last home and away games were both 0-0's (Brighton and Man Utd)...mind you I'll never moan about going to a boring 0-0 ever again!

Well Liverpool's first game could decide the title, so loads will probably turn up around Anfield regardless.

Kind of what I was saying when I said “pivotal”

Bit weird, in my wolves ticket account

It's in mine as well followed by:
3rd Bournemouth
5th Arsenal
7th Everton
9th Palace

Always said the small squad would come back to bite us.

I don't think this will be the actual schedule :icon_lol:

Think they just put them back on the site every so often (similar happened a couple of weeks ago didn't it) not sure why maybe triggers something once it hits the date its down for.

Of course its a concern and I'm sure they will and should have plans in place to handle it but I reiterate absolutely no chance fans gather outside games on a widespread scale.
they've called off trialling re-opening greggs, for fears of crowding.
People will certainly gather. whether where the game is played, or the clubs home ground, or somewhere else.

Confirmed by Sam Wallace that if the season does restart in June it will beat 8-10 neutral venues

So much for those “easier home games”. Won’t even get to play them on our own pitch.

Just beat them on neutral territory. Hardly the most important thing, although an irritation for sure.

I’ve just bought a wolves face mask..

Although after brighton we’ve got more away than home, so maybe not all that bad. Not having to go to Brammall Lane and Villa Park helps.

Wonder what will happen with EL? Not playing that at home would be a major pain in the arse and disadvantage.

If they do it in a tournament format as suggested I'd have thought it will all be in the same country. Away goals would be controversial though for those ties that have already had one leg

That was my point. Already travelled across Europe in dodgy circumstances, albeit in a 95% empty stadium, so a home game in a neutral venue isn’t the same.

Fantastic that all profits are going to NHS Charities.

They will sell a ton of them. See they have limited it to 5 per person

Yes, I got 3. Come with washable filters too which is quite good.

Order 4 so I can send a couple down to my Dad.

Poor bloke is classed as vunerable so cannot leave his Apartment in Ilfracombe. This time of year he would normally be whizzing around the sea front on his scooter. Hopefully in June he can get out and about and he would wear a Wolves mask even if Corona didn't exist.

Got to start wearing one at work by the sound of it so ordered four.

We have some masks here. Sounds like work are calling me back in next week and I will have to have one. Not overly bothered but at least I won't feel like killing the kids quite so much.
