Wolves / Covid-19

Actually Norwich don't seem to be going down that route. They seem to want the season played out and see if they can carry out a great escape. Presumably because a) they aren't MASSIVE, b) have a lot of ground to make up, and c) aren't financially bereft if they go down.

The other team calling for void seems to be Spurs as they think they will get parachuted back into the Champions League despite being outside the places. Which is a financial win for them. It's self interest everywhere.
west ham have been pushing for it from day 1

West Ham were pushing it for it before the virus was an issue.

That's because they are a club run by utter self-interested scumbags. Were it not for the fact that my brother supports them I would delighted if they went pop frankly.

Does he consider himself Welsh as well?

No. My father was English. My mother was Welsh. I followed her, he decided to follow my dad. But my brother was a superb rugby player in his teens and when London Welsh wanted him my dad went postal. Sadly he had to retire as his head popped out of a ruck and some wanker stamped on it and depressed his cheekbone and a load of his eye socket.

The null & void brigade keep stating let’s start a new season in September when it’s safe to do so. Firstly what’s the guarantee it’ll be safe in September? How do you define safe? What happens if medical advice seems it not safe until December?
Still think tho the chiefs at the PL have very little appetite for a null & void.
Problem is UEFA may tell the PL you need to be finished by this date if not you need to cancel the season.

June 8th for the @premierleague return! This is being briefed anonymously. No-one wants to put their name against this one!

Telegraph have had story for about an hour. Training from the 18th. Rui and Moutinho need to come back this weekend

All behind closed doors World Cup style I guess. A lot of games played when we’re at work, guessing it’ll be 1200, 1600, 1945 kick off times each day.
Would take 1 month to complete.

I've been to the Hilton at KGP. Unless there is an invisible bit it doesn't have the rooms to accommodate all the players for a month let alone the backroom staff. That bit is probably just lazy journalism

Also expect so called”big 6 clubs” to get the majority of weekend kick offs and evening matches, that’s if this is all true could just be a load of bollocks.

I think the Police will veto this once it becomes clear fans will start congregating (which they will because most people cant follow simple instuctions)

So nobody is going to hang around by Anfield first game to celebrate their title? Really?

Anyone who thinks there will be widespread turning up outside ground from fans is deluded and probably been brain washed by the anti football fan right wing media for too long. You'd think on a football fans forum we might be immune to the usual 'football fans are sub standard members of society' beliefs but seems not.

No the majority of fans will follow the advice/guidelines like I'm sure we all have been already!

If a few idiots start to turn up then the police could/should deal with that in the same way they should be doing with regard to any small flouting of the laws that's been happening.

MOST people have been following simple instructions, don't let a few over shared photos/posts on social media (then picked up on by the press) make you think differently.

I think in general that will be the case. I also think however when Liverpool win the league there will be a lot around Anfield.
