Wolves / Covid-19

If you have an android phone, hold the down volume button and off button together. If you have a toy phone, I've no idea...

A slight issue is the certificate you get through the app has a lifespan, so you'd have to remember to keep downloading it (I think it lasts for a month before it expires).

Pretty sure it auto-renews every time you log into the NHS App.

But they should have the facility to add something to your smartcard once you've proven to the club that you're vaccinated. Not difficult to do.

That’s what I think they will plan to do. Plus why a 30 day period? You can’t become unvaccinated having had it so if it shows vaccinated status then that isn’t going to change.

Yeah it renews every time you log on

It's right. PL will continue for now. Clubs told of way forward. 13 outfield + keeper is enough to avoid postponement. Should figure be less, U21s who have first team experience HAVE to step in. Chief medic may also inquire over injured players. Full story

shortly.

Behind closed doors sadly looking increasingly likely even with @premierleague clubs determined to play on over festive period... Decision could be taken out of clubs' hands by Government.

Good. Teams need consequences for having players unvaccinated. And the big clubs will be worst hit by it as they have huge squads.

Heard Klopp basically say at the weekend (apparently couple of other managers of a similar mindset) that they won't be in future buying players who are unvaccinated, as its not worth the hassel with extra protocols etc.

Apparently Raul and Adama tested positive on Christmas Day, joining Silva, Kilman, Ruddy and Donk in the Covid camp with RAN, Neto, Jonny and Boly still out injured

So , all vaccinated , all boosted and still caught it! Hopefully mild or zero symptoms.

If the above is true the Watford game would have been off on our side anyway

Ruddy
Jonny Mosquera Kilman Boly Ait-Nouri
Dendoncker Jordao
Neto Raul Adama

With one you missed and another coming back from injury we have a whole team of players with first team experience (stretching a bit with Jordao). We probably aren‘t at peak infection rates yet and clubs will be losing players to AFCON. Perhaps we need to consider changing to a 5 a side format until March….

I am assuming the idea was if we went out the cup yesterday, the cup weekend could be used. As we're still in the 4th round, is there any indication when the watford/arsenal games might be scheduled for?

Plus UEFA have given dispensation for matches to be played on Champions League nights to help with the backlog.
