The takeover of @OfficialWolves is a matter of days, not months...

Fs beaten by Langers and his Timelord ways.

How many more days of suspense can we we take?

Not good enough IMO. #whereareyou

Sorry, late logging on.

Re KJ, as was mentioned earlier, Lopetegui would be a fish out of water in the Champs. It may be that Kenny has been offered some sort of backup role to help the new regime find its feet. That could explain why he’s fairly sanguine about it all. I wouldn’t mind that. I don’t think he deserves all the stick he’s been getting (though he certainly warrants some of it).

Or he might have been offered the Milan job as second prize.

To kill the time, can someone add a poll to this thread? We can vote on which day this week we think this will be announced. Need to kill the time *somehow*...

Where's the suspense? This is happening. It's already happened. Just need to dot a few i's and cross a few t's.

Dear Client
Yes, I know the deadline for the work was today, but as it says on my 'About' page I am a Wolverhampton Wanderers supporter. We're about to be taken over by a gazillionaire and I'm sorry, but I simply can't stop looking at Twitter, the Wolves Forum and the latest Championship betting.
So there might be a slight delay...
All the best - hope you understand
Norman

I mean, how long does it take?

Wolves: Do you want to buy the club?
Mr Li: Yes.

Wolves: That'll be £30 million and 11 pounds then please.
Mr Li: Ok, would you like that in cash?

FFS. Bloody bunch of amateurs.

ARRGGHH, why not today?!?!?

Right guys nothing is happening today, please go away and live your lives and get some fresh air. Come back tomorrow.

Muchos Quirk xx

I think managers normally continue to get paid until either the time on their original contract ends or they get another job.

Not a bad life.

I read an interview with one of the merry-go-round managers once - someone like John Gregory - and he said they really don't get too invested in the clubs they're at and don't expect to be there for long. Two to three years, do a good/bad/indifferent job, take the payoff and then move on to the next club.

Not going to lie as well as being excited about the takeover I also feel a bit sad about It.

Not being British owned anymore and being another foreign owned club saddens me don't get me wrong I want success and would love to see us at top level being competitive again but possibly at the expense of becoming another plastic club that becomes a brand first ahead of a football club is something I really don't.

I really hope Mr. Li will respect our history and not become a plaything for him.

I have to say I totally Agree with this, whilst really excited, I am also saddened and quite worried for our future is as expected the money falls out of English football.

Excited because otherwise it would be more of the same. Any change is welcome - this could be very exciting.
