Wolves Academy Thread

Signed 18 year old keeper Jamie Pardington from Rushall Olympic

We do seem to be building quite the collection of keepers and left wing backs!

We're cornering the market. I learned all about that watching Trading Places.

I also learned that it ain't cool being no jive turkey so close to Thanksgiving.

We signed a 17 year old striker from Notts County - He Zhenyu.

2-0. Another pen. Ennis took, saved but he put rebound in. Albion down to ten

4-1 (Ashley-Seal 2, Ennis, Goncalves)

Went to the game tonight.

Decent game of football, shaded by Albion until a clumsy challenge led to a penalty, tucked away by Ashley-Seal. We had a second penalty conceded by the same player, who was sent off.

This was missed by Ennis, but he tucked away the rebound. 2-0 at HT.

Wolves bossed the second half, with Ashley-Seal showing quick feet in the box and smashing in a good goal, with Goncalves scoring late on with a strike into the top corner.
Albion scored a scruffy consolation.

Standouts:

Giles was quick and strong and caused problems.

Ashley-Seal was a handful, with his touch lurching from terrible to very good, and will hopefully develop

Watt was good on the ball, and dictated play for very deep. Similar in style to Neves, and was vocal.

Cameron John was decent and seemed to read the game well, snuffing out danger and was quick.

Goncalves was tidy. Scored the goal of the game.

Ennis was very quick, hopefully he can kick on after last seasons injury.

Cheers for the write up. I need to start going to watch the U23s, there are some decent players in that lot.

Cameron John has signed a new 2 year deal.

Ennis puts U23s 1-0 up against Newcastle

Ft 2-0. Rob Edwards making a strong return to the club...
