Wolves 2-4 Bournemouth: Verdict Thread

The hope that kills you, I began believe might just turn the corner after last week. Then this happens and reading and listening to reports it sounded just a complete mess.
Chaotic teams go down, they entertain people and make some friends but generally go south very quickly. We’ve scored 24 goals, even if we were conceding 1.5 goals a game we’d be in a very healthy situation.
What was the full time reaction from the crowd?

The decision to keep it as it was, is as bad as anything Saunders and Lage pulled off.

No bollocks to make a decision because it meant dropping a player that played OK previously. You cant tell us all about their strengths and then proceed to pick a team that cannot counter it. To then sit and watch for 45 mins before changing it is another huge weakness.

We won't fire him because the shambles on the pitch is reflective of the running by those in charge off the pitch.

Play again Wednesday so I reckon he gets one last chance then he’ll be sacked.
He merely kicked the can down the road last week, he’s now in a hand to mouth existence if he survives this.

‘Gary, what’s the score’ and ‘sacked in the morning’ got an airing from the South Bank, but too little too late I think.

How we’ve become the victims in this upside down world having to watch his rubbish is beyond me. Pundits all agree he’s working wonders given the hand he’s been dealt. It’s driving me insane. I’m afraid I’ve also gone past the tipping point with everything he says, it all sounds preposterous self-serving crap.

My Dad just sent me the match report from when Sunderland conceded 3 own goals in one match and said ‘were you as bad as this?’ :ROFLMAO:

You're probably right but fuck me, how much more evidence do they need before they pull the trigger?

Sa - showed why we need to move on, first penalty brainless, second more on Dawson would need to see it again as to whether he had a better option

Semedo - gobbing off for a ban is never a good look

RAN - gave the ball away constantly

Toti - Never has been and never will be a PL starting footballer

Lemina - watched him closely in the first half, reminds me a lot of Coady in a 4, that first half second in the head isn't there. Tbf unlike Coady he can recover on occasion with pace

Gomes/Andre - bullied. Teams will see that and do it again. Not the answer

R Gomes - Lightweight and bullied

Bellegarde - some decent, some not, just a meh footballer

Cunha - doubled up on whenever he was on the ball, another tactic teams will copy

JSL - a proper centre forward when we rarely use him properly

Dawson - terrible back pass, should be a break in case of emergency option, but our squad construction is shit

Forbs - safe and ineffective

Guedes - had another impact off the bench, should start next week

Said before and I'll keep saying it, teams with the solo worst defensive record have never stayed up in the PL. We are 5 worse than anyone else. Some of that is on GON, some on the quality of the players. One thing is for sure, he isn't fixing it

I've been hearing 'expert' pundits for weeks saying Wolves will be ok, too good to go down, including today on FF, look at our performances and results over the last 20 odd games you numpties.

Which was met by several fans lower down in the SB turning around and calling those chanting it scum. Our fanbase is finished if we’re accepting that performance and backing a tactical dunce.

To be honest the highlight of the match for me, was when my daughter pulled the wrong plug out of the wall and it took 5 minutes to load back up after an update.
I hope that was at 0-0 just for the added confusion of not understanding the score

Just sitting here thinking about exactly which exit I’d be escorted out of at work if I was performing at the same level as GON

Absolutely fucking fuming after that, genuinely a tactical nightmare. For all he picked the same team as last week the set up was totally different. Not sure if you could make it out on tv but we actually played RAN-Toti-Lemina as a back 3 for the majority of the first 30 minutes. That’s enough to sack him on the spot for me and after that it didn’t get any better. RAN playing four positions and then just throwing forward players on like that’s going to work.

On the chanting i was one of those singing both because i’m just astounded how we are allowing us to meander along aimlessly and it’s actually quite sad that some of fans are happy to do it. Hoping i see the corner flag later.

He fucking hasn’t, has he???????

I fucking hate that shit. From any manager (except maybe Pep I guess). Like, no bitch, you can help a player see where to go but they are the ones who have to fucking walk that walk.

Ugh. Get him the fuck out of this club (and my brainspace).
I can assure you he did exactly that. Last straw for me.
