Wolves 2-0 Man Utd: Verdict Thread

Jeff must be thinking now why the hell did he stick with GON for so long, hope he has had some self reflection at this moment anyhow.
To be honest, he may have hung on because he realised that they dumped Nuno too early - should have let him sort things out…. He will be looking at Forest with envy this Christmas! So didn’t want to make the same mistake again after a good season for Gary last season…… just a thought…..

Well since then he kept Lage for 6 months too long, so he should have learned from the most recent incident.

He was genuinely very very good. As he was at Leicester once he stopped randomly booting it out of play under no pressure.

It shouldn't work but it is working.
Our right side is the best it's been for time, Doc, Semedo and Guedes, it gives me a migraine trying to work out how we got here, but nonetheless...

André was also fantastic. What a joke that O’Neil couldn’t use him properly.

Possibly the most stupid aspect of his management. It's not even as if it's hard to work out what he is or he's not immediately suited to English football. That was plug and play. And he couldn't do it.

Doc's only criticism I could find was he let a player get slipped in down his side behind him and into the box a couple of times in the first half, which could have led to chances. But other than that he was very solid.

Said it at half time we were probably the better side without cutting 11 v 11. It’s not out the question we’d have won without the sending off.
It’s irrelevant as it wasn’t a so called hard done by decision.
Beating the club Man Utd is great but they’re so bad.

Pundits seemed to think his red was harsh! It was an orange card on its own!

Absolutely chalk and cheese we weren’t perfect but we were great even the mighty Doc was spot on

Great performances all over the pitch, even Hwang was decent and sealed the win. Was shocked to hear " well done Doc" in the first half atleast 5 times by fans around me, after the criticism he gets.

Once upon a time, beating Manchester United was an achievement. It wasn't at that level today, they are dross.

Wolves, however, seem to have removed the chaos from their game in the space of a few days. All the talent is still on display, but much less of the nonsense.

We managed the last 20 minutes really well. United were desperate for us to come on to them and press, but we just sat in front of them so they had no space to play in. No panic, just deal with whatever came.

2-0 flattered them.

Good performance. Great 2 fixtures to have when coming in, but 5 goals, 0 conceded is great.

Thought we managed the game well. Cunha seems to have more of a free role a drifting. With actual structure behind him works well.

Slightly different take, but I’d give Andre MoM. Class, calm. Absolute baller
