We’ve signed two forwards this summer. If they aren’t clinical, why do we keep signing forwards who can’t score?but when it comes to the forward players i don't think he has a clinical player at his disposal and that's not something he can really work on.
I just look at West Ham. They sign forwards who can score, from the championship, for less money than we have committed to Trincao. These players attack the back post, get themselves in decent positions, get on the end of crosses, cut inside and find the top corner.
They also have FBs who can cross. Watching the end of the Chelsea game yesterday I watch Marcos Alonso put 3 or 4 dangerous balls in from deep in the last 20 mins. Yes I know he’s better than what we have. But Cresswell and Coufal do the same and they aren’t even playing as WBs. Why do our WBs not cross it, and when they do why is it rubbish. You don’t need a big man in there is you put it in dangerous areas. See Liverpool for details.
I’m just fed up with 3-4-3 when it suits none of our players.
