Off their 7th album Art of Doubt. Only just gotten around to it and I remember why I adore Metric.

The Interrupters. Been getting back into a bit of ska/punk, and these have been a nice find.

I'm off to see Madness in Nottingham in December and Squeeze are the "Support Act". I'm looking forward to that as I always wanted to see them live and never had the chance

That's awesome man. Loads of good songs, I'm sure they'll get things started

Memories of being sat in my Dad's car making him play his Cool For Cats tape over and over

Squeeze were such a good pop band, I'd put Difford and Tilbrook up there with Lennon/Mcartney and Jagger/Richard as song writers

debated going, as the 2nd time I saw madness they totally blew me away. However they're playing big venues, and for me they're so much better in smaller more intimate venues. Or outdoors.

I've seen Madness twice and Suggs once but Squeeze are the band that tipped the decision to go

have been trying to blend in some other music, as was getting a bit bored of the same cds repeatedly whilst working from home. Have dug out some cds not listened to for years.
Have particularly enjoyed I, Lucifer, by The real tuesday weld.
Nocturnal Frequencies ( a mix by Danny Howells free with muzik magazine years ago)
Also loving the "day mix" of his 24:7 mix released by global underground
Symbol by Susuma Yokota - this is a really nice album.

Alarming how many words I know to the greatest hits. I didn't know I liked them this much 😅

On my Google speaker right now are Two Door Cinema Club, who are fantastic.

People, Let’s Dance by Public Service Broadcasting has also been getting a fair bit of airtime. It’s like the lovechild of Kraftwerk and Daft Punk. Terrific tune.

Also enjoying The Custodian by Miles Hunt, his acoustic renditions of his copious back catalogue, from old Wonder Stuff to his solo work and including some of the very excellent recent Wonder Stuff offerings. It’s a fine album.

Assume that's their newie from their forthcoming album? Need to check it out. Love PSB. All their albums to date have been really interesting, so looking forward to the album they're dropping in september.

The new album is all about Berlin and music from there, was a really good interview with Willgoose on 6 about it recently.

Never heard of PSB. Just listened to the full Prom thing. Loved it
