Wolves technical director Scott Sellars said: “Naturally, Hayao is a player we’ve watched a lot and he’s done really well this season.
“He’s an attacking midfield player, very energetic, very busy, and has good quality. He’s really shone at Grasshoppers this year, and he’s one of the main reasons they’re doing so well.
“Due to the GBE criteria for signing international players, Hayao is a player who is eligible to sign for a British club this month, but may not be in the future, which is why we’ve moved now to confirm his signing.
Yeah he's going to spend the month here then likely go back the article says.
Boooo, here was me looking forward to next seasons novelty Japanese inspired away kit.
Yeah, and Japanese players are typically very hard working, both on and off the pitch. However, his record in terms of goals and assists is far from spectacular, which is a major point of concern, given that he's played in tinpot leagues (in comparison to the PL).Having seen the impact Kyogo has had at Celtic I'm a lot more open to this transfer than I would've been a few months ago. The J league is underrated and there's definitely a few gems to be found there.

Raul wasn't that spectacular beforehand, whereas Frankowskis was excellent........go figureYeah, and Japanese players are typically very hard working, both on and off the pitch. Kyogo has been quality in Europe as well. He's excellent, would love him at Wolves.A massive difference in quality though, I'd assume the level Kawabe is playing at is similar to the teams Kyogo has scored against in the SPL.
Now who’s picking fightsAny news on you crediting Jeff Shi with signing Jose Sa, Jinks? As apparently he's in charge of everything and you love Jose Sa.
You can't cherrypick if that's your stance.
I don't care about this signing btw, I doubt he'll play a league game for us.
