Six things for me:

1) Get in a new centre half next month. Ideally two. Doesn't matter if they're Mendes clients or not, we currently have Toti (not a terrible squad player, but that's all he should be), Bueno (weak, diffident and slow) and Dawson (looks like a season too far for him). That's appalling for a credible Premier League club.

2) As above, get a keeper too. Sa is a wanker and can't be trusted, Johnstone looks stiffer than Jacob Rees-Mogg doing the salsa.

3) Find a way to make our central midfield work. Gary O'Neil couldn't do this but surely you should be able to make something out of André, Joao Gomes, Mario Lemina and Tommy Doyle?

4) Get some control of games. For nigh on 18 months now we have watched games become absolute chaos. It's no good. You'll concede too many, you'll forever be chasing games.

5) Do your best to get rid of utter shite like Doherty, Guedes, Bellegarde and Hwang who should never be playing for Wolves ever again.

6) Sort the discipline out. We get players booked all too readily and we're now on a run of three games where players have been randomly kicking off with fans or opposition players/staff at FT. It's a dreadful, dreadful look.

We don't do all that as a minimum then we're going down. So away you go and good luck.

I like Guedes, the rest absolutely

Tbh he’s looked alright in cameos then gets a start and he’s useless.

Personally no issues with doc as backup/squad option. Starting 100% no.
The term "flatter to deceive" could have been invented for him.

Almost every appearance he'll manage one or two things that gesture towards maybe, possibly have a role to play in the squad. A nice cross, making a clever run, even grabbing an assist... but then he'll spend the rest of his time on the pitch faffing, if not stropping, about, until you forget he's even on the pitch at all.

We already have a better version of that kind of player (Sarabia) sitting on the bench.

GK/defence is definitely no.1 priority. This nonsense of rotating 2 goalkeepers that keep having stinkers then going back to the other one needs sorting, preferably a new and better keeper coming in and of course 1 or 2 CBs.

Also needs to restore discipline to the side as we currently look like a rabble of Sunday league cloggers after a night on the ale storming around fighting with the fans and opposition players.

He looks like he has some kind of standing in the game that the players can respect which I don't think was the case with O'Neil, he will stand for no BS from them or from Jeff.

I wonder if Joao Gomes has had any influence in this as he has played under him

All 6 spot-on.

Surely 1 is a priority that he will insist upon to take the job, and 6 should hopefully be sorted due to the natural gravitas you would hope he has as an experienced manager who's had some success.

3 and 4 are GON features that I hope any other manager will do better at.

5 is in the lap of the gods but fingers crossed

I think 2 is wishful thinking on our part after actually paying £10m recently for one of them, but you never know

1) Tell Jeff to fuck off
2) Tell Jeff to fuck off
Repeat until successful

Other than that sign some players and don't sign a 12 month lease on a property in Wolvo

This is fair. I’ve only seen the highlights and he was involved in the goal and great cross for JSL chance, for example.

Yes and no with Sarabia, agree with the flatter to deceive but would say GG is more direct. Sarabia clearly technically gifted, but even I can do copious amounts of kick ups and I’m still shit!

Palace showing what having a decent goalkeeper does today. As much as I dislike Sa at times, think the fact we signed Johnstone to replace him and he’s no better is even worse, and then kept Sa anyway!

Number 7 is don't lose your first game, because if you do the other 6 become redundant

We definitely need two centre backs in general. None of those 3 are good enough for different reasons. Maybe you can try and squeeze six months out of Dawson if the new centre back is quick (and really fucking good).

GK - sell Sa and find someone who can catch.

Sell johnstone amd find someone with at least one decent reflex in his body and a sense of positioning.

--------------New GK------------------

Semedo------New CH----New CH----Ait-Nouri

-----------J Gomes-------André-------------

------Forbs--------Cunha----------Sarabia------

-----------------Strand Larsen---------------

That gives you a puncher's chance I reckon. Depending who the new bits are.

I've seen nothing from Forbs to suggest he's a PL level footballer. Weak and safe, maybe a new manager can give him the confidence he needs. I'd have the old Lemina over Andre if he can settle him down. Cunha is going to be banned for 3 games and if the FA are on one longer. Sarabia will sign a pre contract with someone next month and not be interested imo

For how horrific we’ve been, it’s still not that impossible to keep us up.

Display some competent management and improve the defence and we could have a fighting chance.

We’re not going to catch anyone but Leicester. Beat them twice and I’m backing us to match them over the other 20 games.

Everton I guess the only other possibility but unlikely.
