While I agree with the sentiments from both posters, I feel we should actually qualify for the PL before making this kind of assertion. Once we are there then doors will open for us regarding transfers, and Coady's value will not have dropped.

We need to keep our squad together this January and tell other clubs to do one until we've achieved what we want to during the next 20 games, IMO.

We don't need to, due to being absolutely fucking minted. On top of that, why would a player swap potentially 16 games and relegation from the top flight for a guaranteed 38 games of it starting in August?

I've been wondering what Nuno would do should Coady get injured/suspended. Certainly none of Batth, Bennett or Hause can play that role. Boly might be able to but he's much more effective where he is now. Miranda possibly but he won't ever pull a Wolves shirt on again with the current allegations against him.

Would we drop Saiss back there, N'Diaye maybe? Do we keep Coady there when we go up? If not, will we target an existing defensive central midfielder to play there or search for a specialist sweeper?

The allegations are basically bollocks, so I see no reason why Miranda won't play if needed.

We could upgrade Coady next season for sure.

In other systems and as a CM he isn't worth much at all, here at Wolves now in this system I'm struggling to think of someone that we could replace him with for 10 mill...off you go.

Yes and whilst he did OK it just wasn't the same, I think Miranda and Saiss could potentially do an "ok" job but getting something on Par with Coady or better is a tough ask.
