Sony have called a press conference for 20th February. Rumor has it that the next Playstation will be announced.
I bet my PC is more powerful than the new PS4 and the new Xbox! I think the day of the console may be numbered unless they can come up with some real innovation.
Some TV's already have built in apps and the casual gamers have moved from Wii's to phones and iPads.
Who is going to pay £100's for an already out of date console and then pay £50 or £60 for a game?
You can buy Bastion (one of the games of last year) for about a fiver on the app store or on the Chrome web store, and there are some fantastic RPG's for the same price.
On Steam on the PC you can buy 100's of top class games for less than £10. The Steam Box will soon be out and will fit nicely under your TV.
Interesting times indeed..............
Aliens: Colonial Marines has received very poor reviews indeed. Massive, massive shame as I would have got it if it was any good.
I just REALLY want a decent Aliens game. I thought this was going to be it. So disappointing.
I don't think I would ever go back to PC gaming - It is too expensive to keep up to date. When I used to play on the pc it often seemed to crash or the game wouldn't install properly. Admittedly that was about 10 years ago and it has probably moved on by now. I like the simplicity of using a console - put the game in and your away. My gaming time is too limited and precious to arse around installing and setting up games. I am sure I'm not the only one - which is why consoles will stick around!

After seeing that video, I will definitely preorder this.
I like the reward idea, I like the new weapons, I like the new map layouts, I like the new grenades. It could be my game of the year.
