The Video Games Thread II - The Resurrection

PES 6 was always the daddy. Me and my mate played that in co-op mode a stupid amount. Purely because of the instant control you had over the players and ball (unlike later games).

Inter Milan with Adriano and Ibrahimovic up front were frankly unstoppable.

PES Master League in that era was incredible. Having to Pulis your way through early seasons with an abysmal squad and building it up so you dominated the world. Fantastic.

I always refused to release the Jemal Johnson esque Castolo, just wait for him to retire. He earned his endless 1 year deals playing 1 cup game a season.

That's Jacksonville Armada legend Jemal Johnson, please.

(He isn't actually)

Master League was so good, I got properly hooked after playing at a friends house, went out and bought a ps2 just to get PES (no idea what version).

Ordered one of these:

Let's see if it actually turns up/works...

Cheers James, not too arsed about the PSP as I still have one :D

Dreamcast would be lovely to have.

Yeah that thing looks amazing! I still have a Dreamcast lying around but no TV to play it on unfortunately. Crazy Taxi and Metropolis Street Racer are ones I remember very fondly

It’s still thinking…

I’ve got one but it’s on its last legs. Chews through the EPROM battery in a week.

List of games:

Just finished Aladdin (SNES) on a similar handheld console. The final boss took me quite a few goes because I'm old and shit

I only play it so often but one of the best things I've bought
