Used some of my trade-in credit today.

Got Lego Lord of the Rings, NFS: Most Wanted and Dishonoured.

Marvellous.

Dishonored is pretty good! Although quite short, there are many ways to do things so it makes the game last longer!

NFS: Most Wanted, just terrible, not a patch on the first one imo.

Not played Lego LOTR.

Just my 2p on them :p

Never played a NFS game but it was that or nothing else as I wanted Dishonoured and it was part of the 2 for £20 deal.

That 2 for £20 and the 2 for £10 deals are quite good that Game have on atm, quite a few good titles, didn't know Dishonored was in it though! I know ME3 was, also, in the game in West Brom, they had Max Payne 2 in the 2 for £10, and the 2 for £20, made no sense whatsoever! I picked up Max Payne 2 and Gears 2 for the 2 for £10, figured when I get GoW Judgment, because you get Gears 1 with it, I'll have all of them then!

When I traded in my SE of Dishonored they offered me £4.50! Wouldn't mind but it had everything in it still! Luckily they price matched CeX and I got £14 for it, also brought RDR GOTY for £14.99.

Dishonored was a ton of fun. NFS games are pretty fun too. Most Wanted feels kinda weird to me though; I have it as well.

I bet James is watching, ranting about controllers not being the same as their initial design and how all the ideas were stolen from Nintendo.

Not that any of that will stop him buying one for some stupid amount of money as soon as it's available.

Just played on Lego LOTR and NFS last night.

LOTR: best Lego game yet - a superb use of the licence.

NFS: a huge surprise - I love it!! Not a massive fan of driving games but I really enjoyed this one, utter chaos in places.

The LOTR scenery and landscape is superb as are the cut scenes.

The actual World Hub isn't as good as DC Superheroes though. Collecting and forging mithril items is a pain in the arse as are the fetch quests. You'll find that out as you play it more though.

I've yet to play the DC one so it was a nice change to have the world laid out like that. Love how they use clips from the film and the way they use Tolkein's map of Middle Earth. TBH, I love those films so much that the only way they could top this is by doing a Lego Dr Who, which I can't see happening.

As for NFS - it reminds me of Burnout Paradise mixed with the driving parts of GTA. I love the insane jumps you can do and it's really well integrated with your friends list. I got an achievement for beating Bandy's best time in one race. It took several goes but it does seem to have that 'just one more go...' element that gets you hooked.

It's the first NFS game I've ever played because like I say, I'm not a massive fan of racing games (never played Forza and Gran Turismo bores the pants off me).

How did you know :D

I quite like the idea's Sony have put on the table and the fact they are going to stream games from the Ps4 to the Playstation Vita is awesome news.

I like the dualshock 4 controller and especially that share button and with the fact Sony has stated you will be able to stream game video to friends across platforms it should be a lot more easier to set tournaments up on fifa.

James - I was busy on my Xbox last night and didn't read anything on the PS4 announcement - could you post some details for us please? Launch games? Price? Features?

Price - £1,000,000

Launch games - Rocket simulator

Features - controller with a share button.

That ok for you?

I'm bored. I think I'll ban you to cheer myself up.

Caught up with it now.

Severely underwhelming 'unveil'. You only saw the sodding controller! :icon_lol:

There was absolutely nothing within the presentation that made me think 'wow'. I'm sure that'll come once they're able to showcase some games and give more information on other features but that was a very defensive and pretty pointless announcement TBH.

I like the controller and the social functions made me say well that's good but the fact I can stream my PS4 games to my Vita made me say wow.

Also the fact you can't play ps3 games on it sucks but I have a Ps3 anyway so it isn't a huge problem.

p.s don't ban me :D
