I have to admit I am enjoying the Super Mario U and Nintendo Land. Both are such brilliant launch titles.

wanderer89 - what is FarCry 3 like? Looking at the adverts on the box it looks pretty awesome and just the sort of game I would enjoy. Any early thoughts?

The reviews of Far Cry 3 have been very positive indeed. Never played a Far Cry game before.

Just reading the IGN review and it sounds super-sandboxy. Onto the list with Dishonoured, Bioshock Infinite and GTA V for future purchases I reckon.

I found Far Cry 2 extremely boring, never really got into it at all. It was especially annoying that every person you meet will shoot at you and took a lot of bullets to kill. Actually kind of reminded me of Halo with how long people could survive for...

Far Cry 3 looks ok though, i'd have to watch some videos and stuff on it first before i'm swayed though!

IMO, it is fantastic, best game I've played in a while, story line is well thought out and implemented, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Also, the online is awesome, I've not enjoyed a shooting game online since Bad Company 2.

Pc games are pretty sweet.

I am still playing my Wii U and it is now got pride of place under my t.v. anyway Mario U is quite a hard game but a pretty fun to play especially on boost mode co-op.

Far Cry 3 really is an excellent game. So much to do, some jumpy moments, and some drug induced hallucinations. I've barely scratched the surface of the missions, despite playing it for ten hours so far. It's a mix of Fallout type collecting, Red Dead Redemption for hunting, and COD for gun play. Good stuff.

I'm thinking I might trade in my PS3 early next year - I should get some stuff for my Xbox in part exchange for it. I can then get a Blu ray player separately as that's all I use it for these days - I haven't touched my PS3 games for ages.

Ps4 and the neXt-Box is rumored for a 2014 release so it's probably a good call.

According to IGN. The Xbox will possibly be delayed due to a problem making the processing chip and they have the Ps4 slated for a spring - Autumn 2013 release.

I got myself a Bluray player for about £60 and its brilliant. USB connection to my hard drive, upscales normal DVDs and connects to the internet etc.

Looks like I need to save up for a new Xbox next year then!

That's all I'm looking for really - if I can stream stuff from my pc wirelessly that'd be a bonus. I think some of them can do that?
