The Saudi offer for Salah is insane!

£150m bid expected.

Wages for Mo - £1.5m Per Week.
Don't think it'll happen.
He's pencilled in to go at the endo the season.
To Saudi, but don't know which club.
He's got a year left on his contract so Pool won't want to lose him on a free.

I reckon he will stay two more seasons. And when he goes that’s when I could see Klopp fancying a change too.

Salah signed a three year extension in July 2022 so he has two years

£150m for Salah turned down. I thought that they would take this and continue their rebuild (albeit too late in this window to do anything extra now) the same way they did with the Countinho money. Their defence needs a restructure and new personnel.

Fati to Brighton confirmed. Shows how far above us they are now. He laughed his cock off when we showed interest.

Fair play to them.

I know its easy to kick us but he rejected us as he wanted to stay at Barca rather than "laughing his cock off at us".
As it turns out Barca wanted him out to get his wages gone for the year (well 80% of them) so they can get permission to sign players. Not that many clubs were prepared to cover his wages but Brighton are and can offer Euro football for the season. Fati is any sort of success he will be back at Barca next summer.

We also didn't want him so maybe Lopetegui laughed his cock off when he was presented with the option by Jeff and Jorge

Jeez, it was a fairly simple post to highlight how far Brighton are ahead of us now xx

Not really. They signed a player we rejected (before we decided we were skint)

Lop says yes and we potentially sign him with him being as happy as Guedes that Jorge had got him here.

A ton of things that show Brighton are streets ahead of us, if that is important to anyone, but this one isn't for me.

Brennan Johnson on his way to Spurs

I don't think anybody here wanted Fati; it's hardly a proper stick to beat the club with.

In two months it might be.

If you think Hobbs and Lop wouldn't have wanted Fati then you're off your tits on Jeff's Challenger Juice.

And of course Fati laughed his cock off at joining a club who only just scraped survival in the Prem. He knew he was surplus to requirements under Xavi and would have been actively looking for another club.

Jinky is right, Brighton are in Europe and miles ahead of us at the minute.

Well we said no to Jorge when he put the deal to us. So a juice orgy was going on at that point..

Brighton are ahead of us and have been for a couple of years but that means fuck all really. We can only control what we do and we have done that badly.

Did we balls. We probably said no to accepting smaller fee for Neves in Mendes' proposed swap deal.

I would've wanted him here. But I feared he wouldn't gel in this team.

It was heavily reported at the time.

We had zero interest in Fati. Could argue that we were trying to break the Mendes grip and did it because he offered. Could be because they knew the player wasn't overly keen and had seen Guedes strop around under similar circumstances.
