And he did that while he was at Marseille on loan two years before. :icon_lol:

Nine years after Mick wouldnt risk a long term contract because he might be past it, Ian Harte finally gets around to retiring,

Burnley are delighted to announce the signing of @Joey7Barton on a free transfer. #WelcomeJoey

Anticipating his first interview, 'i'm looking forward to a bacon barrrrrrrm'.

at the end of last season Barton was tweeting that he would not be playing the Championship. Well played Josie, well played

These are the kind of deals that kill the game at lower levels. 14 year old Harry Clarke today leaves Ipswich Town to sign for Arsenal in a deal of around £100k. Wolves have to be aware when producing their own, predators exist at every level.

Yep but we have been the predators ourselves as well, for instance didn't Conor Ronan come from Rochdale to us?

Son has completed his move to Tottenham. So where does this leave Berahino, who clearly wants to leave West Brom?

Yes, being a category one club has benefitted us in that way where other clubs are suffering, losing their top young talent. Kids are being given scholarship deals (starting at sixteen) as young as 14 now to stop clubs poaching them

WBA & Man United agree a fee of £8 million for Jonny Evans

If previous form is anything to go by he can just sit in the car park at White Hart Lane

He's not shite, he's a decent PL centre half for a mid table club, which is what they are. Did very well at Sunderland previously, just not top class which is what United should have in that position. I think they overpaid by a couple of million, but they needed a decent centre half below 30, so may be worth that much to them

Evans was very good next to a leader. Hasn't taken his opportunities post Fergie but is more than good enough in that league.

He doesn't want to be the centre half shoved to left back in Pulisball
