Good signing. They need a CM though as Surman and Arter will get slapped about as a pair.

Probably going to struggle to find much of an upgrade with that money really, could someone like Jedinak do a job for them for 12 months seen as Palace look to have Cabaye in? He'd be a reliable body in the middle to keep things steady but doesn't have the legs to get about like big Steve.

Looks like van Ginkel is going there on loan as part of the Begovic deal.

Don't think the Gink will cut it in this league.

Is Davy Propper (also from Vitesse) on Chelsea's books? He's decent.

Angelo Ogbonna to West Ham. He was a terrific player at Torino, but moving to Juventus did nothing for his career. Be interesting to see how he does in the Premier League.

Perhaps they felt they needed to sign him after this error:

They've done some seriously good business in the past 12 months.

Watford have signed Behrami. They've been rejected by a few more too. Inler and Perotti told them to get stuffed.

Behrami was horrible for HSV.

Cabaye to Palace done. Not sure why Arsenal weren't in for him, Wenger seriously wanted him two years ago, they haven't signed a central midfielder in that time and since then Arteta has gone down the nick.

They need another DM to compete with Coquelin rather than a ball player. He'd be miles down the pecking order at Arsenal.

Why the fuck is Delph going to Man City?? Hardly going to be a regular there surely.

Stephan El Shaarawy close to joining Monaco for between €18-20m

Thank your lucky stars, he's the Italian Kevin Doyle, all effort and no end product.

Atleti signed Carrasco from Monaco.

Surprised to see the Pharoah is moving. Mihajlovic sounded excited to develop him as a central midfielder.
