The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

I'm fetching my new car this afternoon and it's pay day. Sadly my managers wouldn't let me leave work a couple of hours early, though.

BMW diesel..I wish I had one..I need 3 or 5 series though because of family

I didn't choose it but I'm pretty happy with it. 2L engine as well so pretty nippy for a smaller car.

Hmm, I've got about 56,000 songs in my playlist. I know there are some duplicates though, so probably closer to 50k.

Congrats on the new car!

Took my baby daughter to her first swimming lesson this morning.
It should actually be called 'Floating lessons', but still, even though you immerse them a few times to 'Humpty Dumpty' (fell off the wall.... splash!) apparently fell straight into the moat, she was great on her front, then on her back, she kept getting distracted by these dirty great cartoons on the wall, so she lifted her head to look at them and.... oh no! (sinking feeling again!)

She was great!

Interesting getting changed in the 'group family changing room' after.... full of Mums... and me!

Making plans with me sister about where we are going and what they want to do while they are visiting .

21 days to go

Very happy that Blur are playing a gig literally across the road from my house tomorrow, beers and BBQ before, then about 20 of us heading in to the gig, then party back at mine after. Looking forward to it!
:disco:

I've never had a problem with sports cars in bad weather, don't understood why people say that. Is a RWD sports car as good as a 4WD WRX in the snow? Well no, but it's not a death machine like some people make it out to be either.

I've seen many* a BMW driver coming toward me with their back end gliding out uncontrollably when it's a bit icy.
Trouble is, us Brits just don't know how to deal with those conditions.

* One or two

Yep..it slides out a bit since the rear tires are in control..though the ix model has 4wd..problem solved

The wife has got a Mercedes and that's the same, lovely car in the summer though :)

We don't get ice/snow very often so it's not like I'm accustomed to driving in it. So what you're telling me is it's a driver problem, not a car problem. ; )

Lets leave it at there are a lot of shite drivers on the road.
