The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

That me Parsley Sauce Mix arrived in the post today so I can have some tonight on me fish.

Don't I sound a right old sad bastard sometimes .

Not that I can remember, but I do drive very slow on untreated roads.

I never had a problem when I had my BMW in the snow, and i lived up a big hill when i had it. I never had a problem with the Audi either.

What you'll find is that there's a lot of people who can't drive very well in anything other than perfect conditions. Personally I had some great fun driving in the snow...

Today is my daughter's first birthday and she decided to have a lie in til nearly 8am! What a blinding start to the day.

And I hope that your daughter has a very happy birthday. I bet she gets spoilt rotten..!

My mom used to have a BMW a few years back (albeit quite an old one, 1998 I think it was) and it was absolutely awful in the snow. I just tend not to drive if it's too bad; my old car didn't have ABS and it just wasn't worth it.

Far too many rich people on here......Poor old me is stuck with my Vauxhall Agila...!

Ford Fiesta powaaaaaaaa

I miss my Holden VZ Monaro CV8

As everyone should...

Yeah, it's almost like the grand and brilliant solution to the mystery of driving in imperfect conditions is something as simple as "don't drive as if you're in perfect conditions". :icon_lol: People just don't seem to get that you can't do 80 and weave around traffic in a snow storm.

I remember that feeling, first time I met Penk for golf. He's there in a shiny lush car, & I roll up in a 12 year old astra...

The party happens this weekend. Had a brilliant day though. Booked the day off work and we've been to Apley Farm for lunch, then dossing about in the paddling pool this arvo. Blessed with the weather too!

We went there a couple of weeks ago. I think I enjoyed the farm shop as much as Belle enjoyed the animals.

Yeah, the shop is great, but really bloody pricey. Nearly £2 for a post scotch egg and £2.25 for a bottle of ale. The cafe is superb though, the ploughmans was stonking.

Conversely, I'm very happy about living within a stone's throw of Lidl. 10 bottles of Hatherwood Golden Goose craft ale, and a 6 pack of their own Pilsner (which is very nice) for less than £16. Totes amaze-boobs.

Lidl is round the corner but I've never looked at their alcohol - didn't realise it was so cheap.
