The Rugby Thread

I just can't remember the last time he got through the first man though - yes he used to be great at it, but I've not seen him consistently do it for at least 2 years.

I'd much rather have seen a back 3 of Watson, Daly and Nowell

I felt he did it a few times against Wales, not every time agreed, but definitely a few times. His positioning in defence is good too.

Of those 3 you mention, who would you have at FB?

Daly at FB for me, great under the high ball, good kicker and can beat players with skill or pace. Only slight downside with playing him there is you lose some impact from his passing.

Awesome second half performance from Scotland. Thoroughly deserved.

Wales ran out of steam, probably after lifting their game so much against England.

Got two weeks to re-group and welcome Ireland to Wales.

Ireland played France well, moving them round the park and starving them of ball, then taking points when they were available.

Kudos to Sexton and Murray.

Been dreadful hasn't it? Kicking in particular has been awful.

I was all for keeping Italy in the 6N, but these uncontested rucks are pathetic.

Never seen an uncontested ruck before, obviously means Italy players can stand in why would be offside position's.

It really is. It's whole aim is not to create but only to disrupt. But I can see why a Wales supporter would like it :)

Once could be seen as innovative, continually doing it is just a spoiler. England need to recognise and come up with a strategy.

Conversely it'll leave gaps to run into, just takes a clear head to work this out England are still winning after being dog shit.
