The Road To Germany 2024

That's what Rashford can do but its also all he wants to do.

I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed watching an England player as much as Bellingham.
The grace on the ball of Hoddle, the tricks of Gascoigne and the engine of Bryan Robson. The lads got everything.

I was trying to think of a midfielder we've had who was as good as him, at everything.
Couldnt.
Best I could come up with was a Brooking/Robson combo.

Bryan Robson? Probably not as good on the ball.

By the time his career is over, barring injury, there will not have been a better English midfielder as good as him ever.

At 20 Gerrard couldn't get a game for England ahead of an ancient Paul Ince and was only just about a Liverpool regular.

Bellingham is Real Madrid's best player at 20.

England are very very good. Quality in abundance in every department. It's weird.

Gerrard had everything but he never really produced for England.
Yep, wasn't allowed to by his club, plus the (much spoken about) 'club divide' within England camps.
Could say the same re Scholes, Lampard and a few others..
