The Race to be Relegated with Wolves, 24/25 Thread

Hope is underrated. I only have to think back to early Dec to remember what it’s like to not even have that.

Funny how this season is playing out, Ipswich's next two being Tottenham and Man U has me genuinely concerned. If they get 3/4 points which isn't outside the realm of possibility, then I think we are in serious trouble. If they lose both, based on the fixtures I think it's looking good for us.

I thought you were going to say Man Utd are being dragged into the relegation race tbh

The shit Utd are serving up today, you'd be licking your lips if you were Ipswich

Seriously impressive management by Vítor to have us in this position so soon after he joined given the state of the club back then and the lopsided nature of the squad. Heading into a more favourable run as well.

Helped by Saints, Leicester and Ipswich being shite but we don't go down from here.

I was cautiously optimistic when Vítor got announced, yet didn’t expect this kind of turn around (both performances and results) this soon. He has got things ticking and balanced both in defence and attack. The league table is looking a lot healthier and some supposedly “easier” fixtures coming up. Still a lot of work to do.

Hmmmm… we’ll only really know if VP is any good after the next three games.

🤣

He’s doing a good job. We are so much better organised it’s a joke. First few games sorted the defence, and now even with injuries is improving the attack.
Imagine VP’s first training session.

VP: Gets out a notebook.
Squad: “What’s that, boss?”
VP: “Our plan for Saturday.”
Squad: “Our what now?”

Don’t give me Gary’s tumble tap nightmares again.
