Absolutely! The craft (read: breweries that aren't owned or distributed by one of the big boys) scene here has exploded in the last decade or so.

Not sure how many of the weirder brew methods would suit UK sensibilities, but if there's a style of beer you can generally find an excellent example of it over here.
