There are 8 teams that are looking to upgrade at QB. 4 will get 1 in the draft and take their chances there, others may gamble with developmental options already in the building like Ridder and Howell, someone may pay a ransom for Jackson, but a couple will end up having to settle for Jimmy G, Baker, Darnold, Wentz etc. If that GM isn't new to the franchise then the clock is ticking

Rodgers hardly played in his first 3 seasons. Favre fucked off and the rest is history.

The Packers went from Favre to Rodgers so they have had 30 years of top QB play - from a Vikings fans perspective it would be nice not to see Love work out and them take some pain for a while.

In 2022, Love’s deal had a $1.7 million base salary, a cap hit of $3.4 million and a $6.5 million dead cap hit.

In 2023, the contract for the former Utah State star has a $2.3 million base salary, a $3.9 million cap hit and a dead cap figure of $3.1 million.

Burrow has 2 years left if you include the option, but they'll pay him north of $50m a year now because if know you have a franchise QB you pay them as soon as you can. The negotiation will be over the length of the contract, he'll want 4 years, they'll want to give him 5
