I was actually inspired as I watched the William Hartnell dramatization. It really was brilliant the way the woman and the indian dude had to fight to get it aired, and the fact the first episode was ruined to an extent by the death of Kennedy.

Well it depends if starting from the beginning is in the proper sense or the Sky type it didn't exist until we covered it sense I guess

Some of the early stuff is great. Alright the camera work can be wobbly and so on, but there are classic episodes to watch.

If you thought Saturday was bad, check this monstrosity out - the 'special' from 1993. You were supposed to watch it in 3D. Quite what the writers were smoking when they came up with this idea is quite beyond me.

If your into the series like you are Langers you can make sh1t turn into rose petals. I don't get half the Doctor Who stuff but will not slag it off. My cuppa is X Files and half the stuff I loved is bollocks to other people..

I certainly give it far more leeway than most people, this is true! But I don't like them all though.

Where are you getting the torrents from for these? There are some I haven't seen in years and years that I should go back to. Can you send me a PM Jase? Hope you enjoy them.

It's rather primitive stuff, that's for sure!! It's certainly the most difficult to sit through. Try starting with Pertwee's stuff.

Due to the awesomeness of Quirk, today's offering has been Spearhead from Space and The Silurians. That's the first appearance of the Autons and the Silurians. Both enjoyable - I haven't seen The Silurians in over 20 years.

Friday's viewing will be The Ambassadors of Death (which I actually don't think I've seen) and then the quite magnificent Inferno.

An Adventure in Space and Time is a beautiful piece of television,loved it.
