The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2022/23

Will we all remember where we were the day Sean Dyche returned to football, we even had a reel of some of his 'hilarious' press interactions, to summarise, a bloke I'm not bothered about has joined a club I don't care about and is humour is only a tenth of what Micks was in his day.

It depended year by year. When he had Baines and Pienaar down the left they were decent.

He had a perennial Graham Taylor style mistrust of central midfield though. Just a wall of muscle, nothing else.
I bet tiny little Leon Osman is buzzing at that description.

Odds on Nathan Jones still being in a job Monday?

Had an absolute meltdown after todays game, going off against players, fans, all sorts. Lunatic stuff -can see why the fans loathe the guy already.

Wasn't his fault today. He listened to others and let them pick the team....

He sums up the mess that is currently Southampton FC

Let's hope they don't sack him before next Saturday!

That’s just a bizzare interview on MOTD, “I’ve let the players down” then proceeds to tell everyone how it’s actually the players fault.

If that was our manager, we’d be rooted to the bottom and Cunha and Sarabia wouldn’t be within 500 miles of Molineux

I actually think he may be worse than Lage. At least he just blamed the players, and fell out with them, and destroyed their morale, and made them play abysmal football when it was pretty much all him being a useless unqualified cunt. He never said it was the fans' fault that he played Podence up front or Neves at centre half or Dendoncker as an NFL running back.

I'd seen him interviewed at Luton/Stoke (obviously not that much as we aren't in the same league) and I would have described him as unsettling; weirdly intense and with a disturbing religious element that he kept throwing in for no reason. He is so much worse than that.

Please don't sack him.

I never saw this interview but I've seen 3 or 4 interviews before. I think he's a cunt.

Inside info is the players think the same to, watch him beat us next week.

You're joking aren't you? We're on a decent trajectory. Southampton can't score & are terrible.
I really don't understand why people do this cyber style "the shite teams always beat us" rubbish.
It's just standard football fan behaviour. Generally always expecting the worst to happen.
For us its..
Team not won away in forever...come to Molineux to end it
Not won in 20 games...we will help you

Part of it is from football not being as it should be on paper, most weeks you see a result you shouldn't (Southampton knocking Man City out of the Cup for example)
