As for dear old Roy, I've always quite liked him and he got a bad deal as England manager, weakest squad we had by miles in years, then we got a really good squad straight after, parachuted into Euro 2012 weeks before, horrible group at 2014 and we weren't even bad in either of the two defeats....Iceland was a debacle though (but we probably win the group if the format isn't bullshit and Slovakia can't play for a 0-0 in the final group game).

But.

I saw his Watford team. The worst PL team I have ever seen us play and it's not close.

Bruno Lage won 4-0.

And that was over 4 years ago now.
