Optimistic length of contract. No Everton manager since Roberto Martinez has lasted longer than 18 months in charge, and he left them in May 2016 (when Kenny Jackett was still Wolves manager).

What a stat!

I heard on the radio that Dyche will become their 5th manager in 4 years.

Haha forgot Koeman and his red Christmas tree baubles and obviously FSW and Mr Pintsagravy

Gattuso fired by Valencia.

Thank fook we are not on the look out for a new man or else Jorge would be sending him our way

Well if you lose a superstar like Gonçalshit Guedshit, results are bound to take a downturn.

Clearly Guedfuckingbrilliant for Valencia...

I bet Gattuso took this news in his usual calm and controlled manner....after driving his company car in to the changing room and setting it on fire.

Hiring Martinez was a crap idea - he had just relegated Wigan.

Thinking back (setting aside Don Carlo who was there on a jolly) their last truly great manager was Howard Kendall first time round. Moyes was okay I suppose as the rot had already set in and 7th was pretty much the ceiling.

Moyes did a brilliant job there in fairness. They'd been bloody awful for years when he took over and he never had proper money to spend. Got them 4th once.

Joe Royle did well too. Only left because the board started selling players over his (massive) head. Won a trophy.

Aye, Moyes' Everton sides were always good value.

I should also give a shout out to Mike Walker for a Bubka-esque high bar clearance in actually having a worse PPG than Tory Frank.

It depended year by year. When he had Baines and Pienaar down the left they were decent.

He had a perennial Graham Taylor style mistrust of central midfield though. Just a wall of muscle, nothing else.

Lop linked with a return to Spain...
