When Reading beat us (Collins OG) we all thought our run at the top was done. Think they moved a point or 2 behind us. We pulled ourselves out of the rut through February and then hit some winning form again.

One of the rare Quashie appearances for us as well I think in that game.
Yep.

Reading A, Coventry A, Burnley A.

Lost them all.

We have Cardiff's iffy Greek keeper to thank as we were heading for another defeat (to DJ, which was always galling) before he decided to carry the ball over the line under no pressure from a shite Kyel Reid cross.

Anyone remember the video that recapped that season (08/09) with a Sigur Ros song in the background? Used to love it but can't find it on youtube anymore.

Yep Quashie played, I was at that one.

Neil Collins was good for 88mins of every game....

I don't think Collins played for us again?

How dare you forget his final ever kick for us. Absolutely nailed a penalty in the shootout vs Swindon in the League Cup. Top bins, no messing.

Zubar made his debut (at CH, where he was originally supposed to play) in that one and made Billy Paynter look like peak Zlatan. Fucking dreadful.

At FT our idiot on the tannoy (tm) announced the result as if we had just seen an utter classic of a game "Full time and its Wolves SIX Swindon FIVE"

Nagelsmann no longer in the running for the Spurs job.

I don’t think he would be interested in a different job for at least one more season

The world's newest hide and seek champion Paul Cook and deluded Nathan is some shortlist

I thought Dan as alluding to Bruno "80% Attacking" Lage tbh.

A reminder here that 2-1 down at home to relegation rivals (having been 1-0 up and against 10 men for an hour), his Southampton team had a free kick around 40 yards out with seconds to go. And Nathan had possibly the world's best free kick taker play a five yard square ball rather than knock it into the box.
