No. They were a fairly routine Warnock side.

Warnock's kicking team persona comes from Sheffield United trying to get enough men sent off against the $#@! to get the game abandoned back in the day.

Well, that'll teach me to try to understand what goes on outside the Prem.

You have to be fucking kidding. Surely. Please tell me this is a joke mate!
On the short list and has spoke to them.

If he gets them back up, he could be managing in European games in a few years. Massive appeal still, despite the clusterfuck at that club for the last 5 years.

They getting rid of McCall then?

His deal was until the end of the season. Apparently he would have got a new deal if he had taken them up. He is being interviewed for the job again but far from guaranteed to he will be taken on again

Surprised Saunders didn't fancy it, win promotion he's the saviour don't win promotion and point to the clusterfuck behind the scenes. That's right up his street. Scottish second may have been his level too.

Yep leaves them in u much better position for next season in a wide open division.

None of the teams who have come down from the Championship look that well equipped to come straight back (Blackpool clearly won't) and of the others that missed out in the playoffs, Swindon are losing a big chunk of their team and Chesterfield have Saunders, he'll relegate them.

Bradford are my pick for next season in League 1. They've been steadily improving year after year under Parkinson, if they keep hold of him they'll be right up there IMO.

Adkins officially confirmed at Sheffield United.

Fucking lump on them for promotion.

Wouldn't touch them. They've managed to make a mess of it every year they've been down there.

I'd say that surely Adkins couldn't screw up that job, but then his time at Reading wasn't exactly a resounding success, was it?

Neil McDonald gets the worst job in football...AKA the Blackpool managers job

As Frank pointed out earlier, that job is easy money. If you win, you're a genius (hah). If you lose, it's fooking Blackpool, you were always going to!

Took Sheff Utd at 7/1 the other day, hoping Adkins would get the job. They're into 11/2 from that 7 at William Hill now.
