The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2014/15

Let's not pretend this isn't commonplace. Wolves were marked out as naive for sacking Mick and having no-one lined up, it can't work both ways. I don't doubt Freedman has been sounded out - but Pearce was given more than enough rope. He could quite reasonably have been sacked three months ago based on results relative to expenditure (his own) and expectations. He's also been offered another role at the club so I don't think it's killing Bambi's Mom - it's a very poor manager, fortunate to get the job, even more fortunate to hang on for so long, purely down to his playing history at Nottingham Forest, being put out of his misery for everyone's good.

Fawaz strikes me as a lower profile Fernandes - they mean well but know nothing about football. I wouldn't put either in the Tan, Whelan, Bates, Oyston etc bracket.

+1

Listening to an interview on 5Live last night, it was said that Pearce does very little on the training ground.
Leaving all that stuff to his next in line and fitness to someone else.
So just what did he do?

Someone has to man the phones!

The Charlton chairman is a weirdo. Owns Standard Liege as well - he sacked this guy Luzon from there last season and now he is at Charlton, Riga has now taken charge of Standard.

My tired, blurry eyes misread that as T-Dan! Thought it was a bit harsh!

At least DW didn't put you in the Del and Jinky bracket. Now that would be downright offensive.

"Harry Redknapp cites knee surgery in resignation from QPR. 'If I can’t give 100% I feel it’s better for someone else to take over the reins'"

yeah right 'Arry

He's such a shameless twat.

Fortunately I think that is him done now.

Chequebook manager has his chequebook taken away and strops off.

Come on Big Tony. Give Hoddle the chance to seal QPR's fate.

I think that is what most on here will be hoping for.

Shame,he was doing a good job by the looks of things.Blasted old knee injury!

Next QPR manager:
